Are you sure you want to see a realistic representation of how the human body reacts to a high-energy heat-based weapon?

That neat little burn mark you are imagining is probably not very realistic, unless the weapon is non-lethal.

A short pulse of concentrated heat will vaporize any liquids on the point of impact and will burn / boil anything near the impact.

The effect will be more like a nasty crater on the point of impact were everything simply vaporized and burned,

the surrounding area will suffer some rather explosive effects as well, do to the flash-boiling or vaporizing of any liquids,

fat will also have nasty reactions depends on the temperature.

Should I go on?...

In short, the wounds from plasma weapons or laser weapons, will most likely be worse in most cases than any kinetic-energy-based weapon.

(depending on the situation and the point of impact of course)

Yet again science delivers! This sounds way better, let's have this.

I'm an absolute wuss when it comes to blood and gore.

ME3's decapitations and dismemberment didn't make me feel repulsed or disgusted. Plus it did make sense with the high-calibre guns.

But neither did I. I just prefer ME2's more understated violence in regards to headshots.

The widow is for use against armored vehicles or krogan.

Because sometimes you absolutely, positively have to take a Battlemaster's head clean off, at long range.

They joys of having a redundant nervous system and back up organs.

Krogan are awesome.

And this why we need mobile suits.

Where weaponry actually acts like weaponry.

I mean the 2660 KW fusion reactor of the Juaggu can crank up beams that can cut through Titanium armor platting like butter.

._.

Off topic. How good is Unicorn? Last Gundam I saw was 00. Liked it a lot, although my favorite Gundam series will always be Wing Zero.

I want a scene where your pc just looses it and uses his omni blade/fist to just obliterate a poor alien that dared defy him into a glorious pile of gurgling alien sludge. Then he'll stand up covered in and dripping alien guts as he walks back to the evac ship and your companions will just be remain silent the rest of the mission.
