Oh I think I enjoyed bringing back items to be identified in Diablo I. Identifying magic items make sense to me. Sure why not have an identifying spot to go to. It makes a fantasy different from other genres.
Bring back detailed weights of items.

I'm neutral on items needing identification, but if they were to bring it back, they need to let us use unidentified items and, if not be able to discern the history of them without knowledge/magic, at least figure out their capabilities simply by using them. Really annoys me in some games when my character can't use a sword just because he's not completely sure what its history is.
