I'll be able to root for the France Germany winner in the finals with no conflicts. Of course I have no idea who I'm going to root for in that game. I guess I'll just enjoy the game.

I'm neutral now, I'm channeling my inner Switzerland, actually wait... scratch that I'll just stick with Ireland neutral mode during WWII.

What makes me happy is that person in the DA forums who is madly in love with Cassandra. Every post is radiating hearts and joy and flowers and loooove. Nice to see some shameless positivity on the BSN.

I've stayed up past 5am to watch the game live and it was all worth it because we won! Now onto the final! Portugal hasn't had much luck against France in major tournaments, but then again this is the first time France has beaten Germany in 58 years so anything's possible.

@Dani,Personally, when i'm conflicted, I just enjoy the game and I finally root for the winner ! 

 

Amazing night tonight. I was in the Paris fanzone. It was crazy on the streets, full of people ! It's almost like we already won the cup. There were still people on the streets while we were coming back to home very late in the night. Infortunately, my computer is too broken to accept the videos and pics of my phone, but here a small snippet from someone else for an idea. 

 

 

I almost removed my clothes after the match, ( just to be half naked huh... )  to take a midnight bath in a fontain, but my girlfriend advised me to wait the final against Portugal before going that far......... 

 

She is right......... it's way too soon, we haven't won yet, everything can happen with Portugal. So instead of that, I just kept singing with other folks !  If we win, I promise to do it.... and I'm planning to throw her too in the fountain even if I know she is going to hate it, gotta love her reaction lol. But for that to happen, FRANCE HAS TO WIN THAT DAMN FINAL !

 

Damn, what an annoying and exhausthing day though !  Impossible for me to focus on anything. I looked my watch every half-hour, I did absolutely NOTHING of my day ! Just kept watching football journals over and over for hours until it drives my girlfriend crazy. After that, i walked to change my mind.

 

I feel ashamed, I didn't do my daily sport. I tried, but i couldn't focus at all.   I've just done the running. And I feel too tired tonight to catch up even if I'm too excited to sleep. I am way too excited ! CALM DOWN SYLVIANUS !

 

* sigh * I'm glad that everything is going to be over sunday one way or another, because honestly, this competition is starting to drive me crazy.

First, I'm impressed, you are a true supporter for being able to stay up past 5.Am to watch the match ! I know a few who couldn't even do that and they call themself true supporters ! 

 

You know what ? I had a good feeling this morning. The germans today did the same mistake as Spain in 2006. In their Journals, they said " adieu les bleus " goodbybe frenchs ", before even the match happen. For them, we were already defeated, they were already in final. 

 

THEY HAVE THROWN THE CURSE THAT HAPPENED TO SPAIN during the cup of world in 2006 ! 

 

The spanish journals were very critical about the french players with titles like, "  frenchs, sorry, you are going to be crushed " and it pissed so much the french players, that while at the beginning of the cup of world, its true that they were very meh compared to the beautiful team of spain at that time, ( everyone was convinced that Spain would win, even many french themself.... ) the french players suddenly played like tigers against Spain.  And we won ! What a beautiful match it was ! Thank you guys for awakening our boys ! 

 

They have no idea what they have done ! That's what I claimed when I've read the title of the " Bild " the german journal. And i was right. XD !

Staying up once the match started at 3am was actually pretty easy because the game was so exciting, the hardest part was staying up until then. 

 

And yeah I bet those German newspapers are really regretting their choice of front page/headlines right now. Gloating before you've actually won is never a good idea.

It's a big weekend for fight fans.

A solid card headed by a lightweight title fight kicked off proceedings and on Sunday, it's the big one: Brock Lesnar makes his return against one of my childhood heroes, Mark Hunt.

I'm happy that Canada continues to be the kingdom of nice. Justin Trudeau just marched in the Toronto pride parade and became the first Canadian PM (and probably first country leader) to do so while in office.

BUT we may have the first female US president while also having a female UK PM, so that would be boss.

We had 2 first female PMs in a row (the second one is now in office), and it kinda went without much fanfare. It was soured by the fact that the first one was an interim one (as in, not elected), and the second is basically controlled by the leader of the ruling party :/

 

Anywho, I'll be sad that the 'Thanks Obama' meme will end

I'm part of an Overwatch team now, so no more crappy PUGs, and we just kicked some ass.

I do wish I would get to play more Tracer though.

Finding a group to play with is awesome. I did that with ME3 MP. I was sick of PUG life and joined one of the many MP groups on the forum. Made some amazing friends that way.

PUGs are good for screwing around in and, every now and again, one or two people surprise me but I'm too competitive to put up with the stupid **** PUGs fall for all the time.

Well, I'm officially an adult (***at least according to the banks). Got my first account and debit card. 4 years later than everyone I know, but hey, better late than never. And right in time for a certain kickstarter.

I was finally able to go out for sushi today, while I didn't have as much as I would of liked I did get to have eel again for the first time in a long long time and tried a fried roll for the first time ever. Delicious! Tried one called a 'Christmas Roll' and next time I go gonna try the 'American Dream Roll' and 'Maryland Roll'.
