Well, not exactly the Black Emporium, but something like the "Mirror of Transformation" in the new ME game. Once you f*ed up on the nose or the chin (like I did in ME3),you don't have to start alllll over again. Pleeeease do! Thanks,BioWare! ![]()
Please add Black Emporium to ME:A,pleeeease!

It would be a lot better to plan for this from the beginning than try to add it late, and the lessons have long been there that this needs to be incorporated into basic game design from the start.
It's mostly a question of hoping they've learned the lesson.

It would be a nice touch if your squadmates commented on the difference in your appearance. LOL.

They could just let you use a mirror in your room and not address the "magic" behind changing your face.
The "fanbase" would riot!

Personally it's not a feature I use but if it is going to be included it should be done simply like a medbay option, like the facial repair thingy. Don't think it should be commented on in game either.

I wouldn't mind if the crew commented on the change of appearance, especially if you make a bunch of changes every few days.

a small mirror in your personal quarters, or the medbay idea would awesome.
No need to get complicated about it. Just to have it at all would be extremely cool.

Indeed, my Shep started his ME3 journey with blond hair, then all of the sudden one day he had metallic green hair. Someone would've definitely made a crack about it if they were allowed to.

Agreed, although Xenon in the Black Emporium comments sometimes when you change your facial features. If it was commented on in MEA it would probably just be a few funny comments here and there.

It would be nice to have. We could change out clothes in ME2 and 3, but when my FemShep went on a date or hung out with her friends, it would have been nice to change her hair or makeup, and if you did not like how your Shepard looked in the game, at least you could fix it instead of modding or starting over. I remember many of us starting a new DAI game 7 times and up on the same day for months until the BE came out, because we couldn't stomach our Inquisitors faces ![]()

Just swap out the magic mirror with a plastic surgeon and you're good to go.

There are two ways you could do this: grind for resources needed to make the changes you want. New eyes perhaps 2500 platinum. New mouth 2500 Iridium. New nose 10000 paladium. New cheeks 8000 gold. And you have to discover the ore on the planets and mine them over several physical days each. OR you could simply save yourself the time and handle it through microtransactions. New face for 500 EA Points. And how about new emotes for 100 EA points too! And perhaps a new dance for another 500 EA points or you can buy a bundle for 2500 EA Points!

I think people put too much thought into justifying the change. Really that isn't needed most people are making changes to their character not because they want to role play said chances but because they had this image in their mind's eye of what their character looked like and they didn't capture what they wanted in the initial character creation process. So I think Killroy is correct in not worrying about the 'magic' behind it. just give people the ability to quickly and EASILY make changes as they desire and no over think things.
It isn't a feature i would use myself that often as I often take the default character in games. I am more interested in how my characters are different in their personalities than in their appearance or voice. but appearance is one of the pillars of customization and games should make it easy to get the appearance players desire without a lot of hoop jumping, at least in my opinion.

There can be an underworld market or black market of some kind set up to serve the Milky Way travelers in Andromeda. Places like Omega and people like Aria will always exist in the world. Even if she and the rest of the Underworld types didn't make it more will spring up in their place.
So Andromeda can have it's own Black Emporium and find a lot of rare loot there maybe. It will probably be pricey though.
As for the facial morphing, in the original series we had access to that device that removed our scars. I'm guessing that by the time we reach Andromeda it will be a few years down the line and the technology will have advanced greatly, so the ability to have a machine alter your appearance is more plausible than space magic.
Or maybe the person running the emporium moonlights as a shady underworld plastic surgeon, I don't know
