The Scimitar is perfectly usable on Gold, provided you put it on an Infiltrator or a class with RoF boosts. Your trigger finger will hurt after a couple games, though, almost as much as if you brought the Raptor.

You can use it if you like it of course, but it's very weak compared to every other shotgun, well except the Katana maybe but it's a tough call.

The Eviscerator is the better option for Uncommons. I would only use the Schimitar Shotgun on the DAI or the TSol.

It's useless, but I like using it for nostalgia. It's funny really, the Scimitar is thiiiiiiiis close to being an incredibly effective weapon.......if only its damage wasn't so pathetic that it starts having trouble as early as silver.

Why not take Piranha and save yourself some troubles.

Scimitar is for ME2, not this game.

Same here, I hate hate hate the Scimitar.  Actually, it's probably my least favorite gun.  The only advantage it has on the Shuriken or Predator is that you can attach a Shotgun Omni Blade to it.

I get tired of seeing the whole Avenger "It's deadly on full auto" when what it should say is "It's deadly on full auto if your target sits still for 2 minutes while you land a continual stream of bullets on it's head"

It takes 3 minutes with the Scimitar.

It's deadly on full auto, on a Turian Ghost.

Obviously it doesn't kill stuff at ftl speed, but it could be fun to use. Try to use with a marksman carachter and a smart choke, and if you have a good aim you can HS enemy from afar which is really satisfactionary with this weapon.
