I would love a mostly alien crew made of Quarians, Aari, and Turians....that would be awesome. No Krogans allowed.......ideally there shouldn't be any left in existence after the events of Mass Effect 3 where they were not cured and sent to play tag you're it with the reapers.

For the Drell Mechanic: Busy Friday evening, trying to repair a fighter with thruster issues, looking for some tools, Salarian trainee being careless, fighter skids across flight deck, I yell at trainee, he laughs as the flight crew shout "Happy Birthday"

I keep saying diversity is key. I do believe we will (obviously) have alien squadmates, I feel as if the majority of our crew on the "Tempest" will be human.

Hopefully Arkcon is multispecies, and not just the Alliance branch of the Ark project.

Kinda want a brutal Asari commando with some screws loose in her head. Completely unromanceable.

That's exactly why she SHOULD be. Hubba hubba

Sounds good to me, so long as it doesn't turn into a ragtag collection of every species in the galaxy.

We know how the trilogy went. Milky Way Galaxy races banded together to defeat the reapers. I like to believe that this cooperation lasts beyond the reaper war.

Let's say our ship isn't predominantly human. Which races would you like on there?

Keep in mind these characters can strictly be NPC that DO NOT also function as squadmates. This would be a workaround to include many of the previous races without excluding others.

I'd like to see a Quarian ship pilot or navigator (because they're great with ships).

An Asari nurse (most gentle race so a nurturing role is befitting).

A male Turian in an important position focused on administrative tasks (I could do without a male Turian squadmate as there's too much combat capabilities overlap with humans.)

I'm all for it. If there's one thing I hated about Mass Effect aside from ME3's ending, it was the human-centric theme of it all.

Nothing wrong with having the majority of the crew human. I wouldn't even be opposed to the idea that the whole crew is human

Definitely.

There aren't many things that would irritate me more than MEA ending up a rah rah pro-human circle jerk. However the expedition takes shape, I'd like it to be clearly and unquestionably a shared effort among the council races and other important species in the MW.

In particular, I'd like to see a non-human in the "Anderson" role, as our superior or the one who commands the expedition. An asari or turian, or maybe even a quarian admiral. Considering the nature of the setting as we understand it and their experience and knowledge of extended space travel, I think it would be a waste for the quarians not to play a large role in MEA.

I don't want to be interviewed by Khalisah Al-Jilani or attend a debate being moderated by her. Westerlund News is always being biased against me and no other candidate.

Well I was always "superior", just not literally a direct superior to you in game.

Sadly, this is about as likely to happen as the toaster hugging neo hippies at bioware letting you play a synthetic realist. They went so far as trying to smear me for taking my toys apart as a kid. You know, that thing pretty much all kids do? It's like they think poking Strech Armstrong to see what's inside is murder, which really doesn't surprise me, given they are so delusional they also seem to think that unplugging a broken blender is likewise.

Did you know they originally tried to kill me off via a blaze of sidequest in ME3? After Rannoch I was supposed to go "crazy" and start reprogramming geth platforms into walking cyberwarfare weapons against the Reapers, then be actually murdered by the player for no reason.

I have a similiar thread to this based on squadmate ideas. I have a good amount of alien squadmates there ;)

Feel free to contribute if you want :)

I'd consider it a wasted oppertunity and be disappointed if it is the latter.

Yahg and Krogan freelancer duo would be perfect for me. These two would argue over each other's strength and agility like a couple of Russian hooligans but remain close friends afterward.

The more the aliens, the better. What is the fun in playng a space ark if there are more humans than aliens? And humans are just one of many races, having too many humans would feel both lazy and as humans are like space rats that reproduce too much.

Which is why I like SWTOR and its relatively alien-diverse set of squads. But not a lot of people want to play the game because of its MMO status.

I want a Dr Lokin equivalent. A human squadmate that goes berserk and turned into true melee-tank monster.

Why would a cerberus ship have alien crew members?

Ugh. Please. No more Cerberus. I didn't HATE their presence in the games, but they've seen enough action in the trilogy. A new galaxy, a new game, a new enemy. If I wanted to rehash I would replay the previous games.

As for the crew, I definitely want to see a multi-specied crew this time. More so than just our alien squadmates. It would be a wasted opportunity if it was just all humans again. It made a little more sense in the trilogy just because we were Alliance Military and were discovering the lore. Now we're going to Andromeda ALL of the Milky Way species, including humans, will be discovering a new galaxy.
