The reason must people in a story are human and aliens are nothing but guys in suits with exaggerated human traits is because games and stories are made for HUMANS. A truly alien alien is pointless we wouldn't have any frame of reference to tell its story. You can't explain colour to a person blind at birth you need a frame of reference. Having mainly humans in the crew allows the audience to identify and automatically relate to any and all social interactions at a glance because we have experience and instinctively understand these interactions. Adding a majority of aliens into the mix isn't good story telling.

You contradict yourself. If aliens are humans in masks then nothing stops audience from relating to them.

I would like to have a good balance between species~ not a human crew like before....
For some reasons I never felt good with a human crew only and Cerberus certainly didn't help me to like humanity better.... by the way, I really hope we won't see them again, I seriously have enough of those guys ! new galaxy, new plot, new story.

I liked the perspective of ME2, though after how Cerberus were handled in ME3 i'd gladly not see them again.
I'd largely agree it would seem a missed opportunity if this new galactic endeavour didn't revolve round more of a mixed crew. It could also provide some interesting sources of friction.
