My Lone Wolf Turian Soldier named Gavorn is waiting in a Condor lobby all suited up with the mighty Scimitar, level 2 equipment, awaiting Turian backup...
While I was writing my last post here, GruntKitterhand joined my Condor Turian lobby as the Turian Sentinal with Turian standard issue Phaeston, and also with level 2 consumables. There was another fat Turian Sentinal, but he didn't stay. Condor Cerberus must of scared him good. And with good reason. It was a hard fought battle. But in the end we defended Condor good. Only I ended up as Lone survivor because for some reason I couldn't drop off the ladder in time to save my fellow Turian and that Geth Trooper synthetic. Sorry guys. Blame Condor. You guys always do. (Not me. Wasn't Condor's fault. I'm sure there's some scientific explaination behind it? ... Maybe it works different on PS3? Or maybe my fat Turain was too fat to squeeze through?)
Also, I'm giving up the hosting duty and searching for games instead in other territories. Everytime I host on PS3 I lose way more potato frames then normal.
Epic game Sinful. And Mission Successful - that's all that matters.
My mate arrived half way through, so I was a bit distracted, explaining the depth of my psychosis/addiction 
In these particularly lore-friendly circumstances, I want to say I'm not using my Geth Scanner as a crutch, primarily, I'm using it because of all the unlockable things in the game, the thing I'm lacking most is Gear. Apart from Hydraulic Joints V, which I use when at all appropriate, all I've got is junk. So Geth Scanner it is, for now anyway. And as for the missile use, I hope you'll agree it was all entirely appropriate to the circumstances, and didn't begin until the other guy dropped. I still had a last missile if I'd been revived, but I was genuinely glad you made it out alone, as you played a really solid game, and I'd rather have a Phaeston than a Scimitar any day of the week.(Edit: especially hosting Cerberus)

I also have to report that the calibrations done on my most recently purchased PS3 controllers were evidently well below traditional Turian standards. I have to choose between an unresponsive omnibutton or circling anti-clockwise, and I think it might just be time to buy a second PS4 controller, as I can't be arsed re-synching the one I have every time.

My next Turian Soldier match brought me to snowy White. No relation to 7 dwarfs. But it did have 2 pugs most of the time. Host must of been memory leaking, because silent Phantoms at first, with further sound cues dropping as match went along. Including Turrets.
I was lone survivor because the pugs were too into killing things instead of remembering extraction. I only here now because I had to reset PS3. Memory leak is contagious, and even Turians can catch it.

Geth Scanner on kits that can't dodge I find to be totally legit to me, just so it's easier to avoid sync kills. Plus I hear you on that Gear issue, as I was there and using Geth Scanner more then normal. Now I'm back back again to Barrage Gear and Thermal Clip Gear as the usual norm.

So I found for me3 mp and the DS4 controller :
1) For texting & since the DS4 home doesn't function - no quick texting possible without an external device - bad for AHF rofl comments.
2) me3 doesn't support the bluetooth connection, so ds4 needs to be plugged into usb3 constantly - long term this is bad for build-in battery.
3) rumble not available on ps3
4) ...

I keep a wired PS3 controller next to me at all times just for a working lolHome button. Otherwise I have a mic if I really have much to say. But on PS3 I'm always talking to myself, which makes me feel like I've got daddy issues.
Yes, DS4 does now support wireless bluetooth connection if that's what you meant. But I prefer wired since off host ME3mp already has enough lag, adding further input lag is too much.
I don't want my controller rumbling while I'm trying to aim. Spitfire always rumbling is annoying. But charge weapons always rumbling is even more annoying. (Sadly, playing on PC with Mgamerz controller mod means there's no way to turn off the lame rumble feature)
To get the wired DS4 connection to be much more stable, I tie two hairbands around the connection, and between the DS4 wings and the analog sticks (will upload a pic of this one of these days). This way the connection sits much more stable without fear of always disconnecting with slightest movement.
Ds4 supports wireless in the new ps3 firmware, but only works in certain titles. Sadly Me3 mp is not one of them.Practically, I don't believe mortals will notice the 4ms(ds4 =BT v 2.1) response delay difference in comparison to the 1ms found in a cabled usb 2 onwards. (Humans have a 200ms reaction delay between eyes and hands). Had some more Turian matches. Two with BSNers, and two more on my own with pugs. But the two I just had were under some classy vino influence. Clutching that Condor wave 9 was though with a TSol Indra 1. Scoping in with that thing is very hard under the influence of class. Only me and the other Turian extracted. And as it should be. Those other weaker race pugs couldn't stand a chance against harsh Turian moon environments (Skin is too delicate).
So for the next match I picked Hurricane 3 on the TSol with some above average consumables this time around, and those fat Collector melons didn't stand a chance. Influence or not.

And yes. I was thinking the exact same thing about weak mechanical usb3 connection standard. Most bogus thing I've ever seen. (And I'll get on that photo later today or tomorrow)
Just had one more. But bailed when stability wasn't working. Eventually I ended back in the same lobby, but Turian stability worked time around, so I stayed. This isn't the first time I noticed it working, but upon re-entering the match, it may work.
Anyway, I think I'm done playing for today. Turians day is over for me. It was fun while it lasted. But it's ok, I'll play more Turians tomorrow.

But, I did play ME3mp with DS4 set to wireless, unless it was another ME3mp dream...
I probably dreamt that my Firmware was up to date on Thursday
