Nigthman has already answered to that very well. I'm aware that e-peen / ego is a part of what motivates people to post in this thread, but I see it firstly as a place where people try to put back the limits and as an archive where everybody can find videos for any map, character, weapon, etc, from players who have mastered this game enough to solo platinum. This is also a topic where people can discuss about builds and strategies for solos. I would certainly not manage a thread whose only interest is players' e-peen measure.

Czeuch has apparently doubts about his skills (hence the "I found out" topic and this one), while he should not. You have solo'd gold after how many hours OP ? 120 ? I think I was still playing bronze or silver at this time, you're doing just fine and have nothing to worry about. I'm aware that being too often at the bottom of the scoreboard isn't a pleasant feeling, but some of the players you regularly play with are experienced platinum soloers with a maxed manifest, you should not try to compare with them for now. Don't be too impatient. Trying to become good with any character or weapon will do more for your skills than caring too much about the score.  

 

This kind of pure e-peen thread is rarely welcome, unless you have a video with something very impressive, original or fun.

Not at all for several reasons.

A solo is a solo, it's something you do knowing you have to manage everything alone. But this is a team game, what you describe in the opening post is basically a sabotage towards those that actually try to complete the objectives. Ignoring those and not reviving etc makes things a lot harder for the others, as the things you kill tend to spawn close to the objectives.

And you can be assured that every poster here already knows how to "win" the scoreboard by playing that way, especially with a Reegar/Kroguard vs gold Geth, not very impressive.

If I had been in that game you can be sure to have been awarded with a vote kick after the game.

Got it. Won't happen again. I've been here for 4 months and I unfortunately don't browse the forums too much as I don't have that much time. I use it on demand.

What happened in that game was a one time thing. I never do that. I only did it for test purpose to ser how far I could go with that. For your information in the previous game with the same guys I was reviving and doing everything fine. There was even a guy in the lobby that was a true scorewhore and didn't revive anovody. Ever. In the match where I was hosting I left him to die when he fell right beside me. The other nice guy was dying and I was killing a prime and I said over the mic for him to revive the dying guy. He ignored me.

And just to remind you Patrick I started to play the MP 3 to 4 months back. I only have commons and uncommons maxed. I have lots of rares but none maxed. In fact I have one V weapon. And I have a few URs. That's about it.

The reason I posted this was because I was happy being able to score high at least once. But now I know it doesn't matter so it was the last time I post this kind of thread.

Lighten up though, for a new guy you're doing pretty well. You'll eventually be able to get these scores without trying too hard. So chill and enjoy the game for what it is.

I've never given a crap about score in a co-op game, and I never will, but if I'd been in the OP's game (specifically the one in question) I would have left before the end, or more likely left before it started, because of the "Krogan" using the Reegar - something I've never even done in a solo in case the servers glitch and someone might witness such pyjakery. But that's just me taking the lore seriously, and I don't really care what anyone else does. (Also worth acknowledging that the OP doesn't actually have a Graal, though I'd happily choose his Piranha, Raider, GPS or obviously the High Lord in preference to that other thing)

 

And OP, here's another tip on top of all the friendly responses you've had.  Never, ever, attempt to justify the speed you've been killing at while playing as a Krogan because you have to sometimes target the individuals for melee attacks, because that is how you're supposed to play as a Krogan - it's what they're for - and getting into Rage should never be an issue unless you're playing with trolling BSNers.  There may be other kits who do mass destruction faster, but no one can go toe-to-toe, or more accurately head-to-head, like an enraged Krogan. Now go and get yourself a proper shotgun, kid. RARRRR!!!!!

I don't think this is a big deal at either end.

 

I had probably been playing for a year (minus the three internet-less months in 2012 I refer to as "the Dark Ages") before I had a score like that in Gold. It sure seemed big at the time, but looking back over my experience, it's not a moment that I would have ever remembered as significant had this thread not reminded me of it. My first Gold solo, on the other hand... 93 minutes, baby, top that!!!

 

At the other end, I've seen e-Dong threads of many stripes, and this one is barely noticeable if held up to the giant egos behind most of them, let alone the classics like "Can anyone beat me with my Harrier (oh and I secretly use 6/6/6/6/6.)"

From the point of view of someone (me) who is also more or less new to the game (I've put 500 hours in since September), I can empathize with OP, and understand why the e-peen post. And I suggest you guys lighten up a bit  . That being said OP, it will come a time when you'll score that much and even more while also doing all the objectives (in fact, being the only one that does them) and reviving, and you won't enjoy it, because it would mean you had to carry a terrible match.

It's common BSN knowledge that Krogan kits only use Krogan-approved weapons: things that make BOOM. That leaves you the High Lord, the Graal and the Raider in the shotgun department   .

Reegar, especially its incendiary version, is just about the most OP thing in the game, since it quite literally melts pretty much everything and that's before adding in the incendiary glitch. Therefore, it's considered pretty much shameful to use it. Doesn't mean we don't do it... just my last game, my brotarian soldier melted Cerberus with the Reegar, but that was payback for the previous game where they pretty much rekt my DAI.

 

But at the very least, have the decency not to brag about it.

Well, if you have even the remotest interest in playing this game in ways where the lore comes into play (much more important for many of us than this score thing you seem to be interested in) Krogans should use Shotguns, and the Reegar isn't a Shotgun by any definition I recognise. I've already listed the guns you have which are absolutely Gold-worthy, so none of them are crappy. Your Claymore, for example, is 3 levels higher than the one I'm currently using. I think it would be more constructive use of your time to actually learn to use the game's best Shotgun than worrying about where that glorified flamethrower leaves you on the leader board.  It's meant as friendly, constructive advice, but you can of course choose to ignore it.
