Thought I don't take the same hard line approach to the topic, I agree with the starter of this thread. If you buy the game, you should have access to ALL the game content. If you wanted to hold some things back for a while for pre-order incentive, that makes sense, just don't leave everyone else out in the cold.

M-29 seems to be broken at the hands of your squadmates atm. I think devs forgot to adjust it's damage percentage when they're firing it. Normally it's 50-60% of the damage the player would do, but M-29 clearly does more damage.

I actually like the content packs, just wish there were alternative ways to get these unlockables... Kinda sucks not being able to get the blackstorm. GS wouldnt give me a preorder so i did it through amazon

It was released as a download on Xbox live for free as an accident before the game was released.  So if you were one of the luck ones that happened to see it and download it you can use it on the 360 but if not then I think we are SOL.

The sniper rifle is not that good. It eats ammo so fast, I prefer Viper any day.

edit: I doubt it will be DLC, because these things like sniper rifle, Terminus armor were exclusives. Would be nice if they were released as DLC though.

Having gotten the Incisor Rifle through.. "other" means, I can say that not only is it very nice to have and have a unique look, but it also fullfills a role seperate from that of the other weapons and is truly unique, just like the Blackstorm is for heavy weapons. That items such as this isn't in the base game, fully incorporated as loot or research, is a goddamn shame beyond belief.

It is deadly and extremely fitting (with it's blue skin) in the hands of Garrus. It somewhat fills a hole between Assault Rifle and Sniper Rifle. It's just completely insane that these things aren't in the base game, and actually incorporated into it.

I mean my local GS stopped taking preorders for the CE version before Nov. ended, so I got screwed outta that and had to get my copy from EA, and managed to trade of my Inferno armor for the GS code....
But damn... First DAo now ME2....
EA is making a mockery outta the dlc on BW games.... (of course seeing as they are locking ingame content on some of there new games for a month..... unless you preordered the games) its not like I should be shocked.

MS dropped the ball and made it available for download for a short period. The rifle sucks, though. It fires 3-shot medium-damage bursts but quite often not all 3 hit the target. Unless you're firing at an enemy's torso in which case hold the weapon switch button to switch to a gun which is actually meant for that.

Yeah, pre-order bonuses are out of wack. I kept hearing about this game and never played the first one, so I picked it up at Walmart and I love the game. But now I am finding about all these cool weapons and armor. I don't see it as an option to go buy another copy of a single player game to get the armor and weapons either. It really sucks that the game market has gone this route. Its one thing to have a nice CE of a game (which i usually buy), but another to have different stores have different versions of the game.

Have a look on ebay guys. I missed out on microsofts mistake that put all dlc up for free so I had a look on ebay for codes. I've now got all the dlc except that sniper rifle

Umm when is the incisor rifle supposed to be available? I have the collector armor and assault rifle, but the incisor rifle is still not available. I am starting to think the EA rep gave me a plain collector code, rather than the digital deluxe code.

I agree with you in the sense that if you buy from EA, you should receive ALL available content. Funny how Gamestop had better stuff than EA. Go figure.

I was wondering this myself and a friend who worked at EB/Gamestop hinted at the reason for this.

EB/Gamestop makes makes its real money from the used/second hand market fro games. EB's current DLC policy (charging second hand games for DLC), destroy's almost any incentive to buy the game use, let alone new from EB.

On top of which EB/Gamestop has a REALLY bad reputation about how it handles pre-orders. So as an incentive to buy from EB they get the obvious best pre-order DLC.

Generally pre order items are so specific to a play style that it really depends on the item your getting on where you get it. This was designed to give Eb/gamestop a definate legup on pre-orders. Its that simple.

Its the same way to a certain extent with the Incisor. A weapon is a big incentive to buy from a direct download site.
I really wanted the Incisor myself but I prefer having a hardcopy and all that comes with it.

I use the recon hood, because +10% damage to all weapons is nice. That's the only one I've used regularly though.



I got the gamestop preorder, but I hate the way the armor looks, and the Blackstorm's recharge time makes it way worse than other heavy weapons imo.
