And here we have an example of why we're seen as just as bad as the consolites.

Seriously, BioWare, why screw over your fans like this? At least make the items available worldwide through the Cerberus Network or for a small fee.

The console doesn't matter to me. I've played all the mass effect series on 360, but I've also player all the baldurs gate series on PC, and KoTOR 1+2 on the xbox and computer. Does the console really matter? As long as I get enjoyment, I'm happy. I prefer shooters on the 360 then pc, thankyouverymuch. If anybody wants to take an issue up with me, fine.Dethateer wrote...

Anyway, the point of the thread is the incisor. Which I need for my squad, if at's as good for them as I've heard:( But it is meant to be coming to cerberus network soon, anyway.

Thanks for proving the PC gamer elitist stereotype. Can you guys seriously quit with the 'we're better than you?'. You're giving ALL of us PC gamers a bad rap.CorusDaar wrote...

I seriously doubt the hardcore Console players really care what the hardcore PC gamers say anyway, both sides sound like asses when they try to argue which one is better.

I never understood it either. We get sweet mods and the consoles get what they get so what.

PC=good investment for someone who has a budget to constantly upgrade to play the latest games and a good investment for someone who needs a scalable multimedia platform for a variety of non-game related tasks.
Console=better investment for hardcore gamers who can't afford a $3000 computer but still want to keep recent with games.
Look at that, all that arguing and I solved the whole PC/Console b.s. in less than a minute.

Case in point - my computer exists for Company of Heroes. Everything else that feels more comfortable to play with a controller goes in the xbox.

Accurate, were it not for the fact the cost of a gaming PC weren't greatly exaggerated. I can build a great gaming PC for less than 500 dollars.D.I.Y_Death wrote...

I have the DDE, and it takes the sting out of it a little. £40 for a game (£30 for the standard PC version, BTW), some PDFs, some MP3s and some video files. It goes through ammo damn quick, and it's not *that* great, truth be told.
I saw it as something to "balance the scales" as it were.

Another common exaggeration would be the "limited" usefulness (the "OMG, U HAV TO UPGRADE EVERY TWO MONTHS" argument) of a gaming PC, which can be in excess of four years without upgrades.

Indeed. I've gone well over a year without an upgrade, my 9800GT is chugging along just fine.Dethateer wrote...

I built a Core i7 920 based gaming PC from scratch early this year for about $1500. I could've saved a LOT by buying cheaper peripherals and not building it on core i7 (since processors really don't matter much for gaming). I could probably play new games in two years without a problem without upgrading, but with scaled down graphics of course. And upgrading isn't always expensive either, since all I need to do is buy a more powerful graphics card because the processor won't be bottleneck in years to come.
All in all though, gaming on a console is less expensive (though you have to pay more for every game you buy which sets it off a bit).

I'm on an E4500 I clocked up to ~2.75GHz (need a new cooler if I'm gonna go higher than 2.8 and stay stable), and I suspect my rig is really only gonna start struggling with this year's releases. BioShock 2 was fine, Mass Effect 2's been fine, Awakening was fine... GTA IV causes issues but that's GTA IV.
Bet you can't run Crysis
Not that you can even start to compare to ME in terms of experience.
EDIT: Just to stay on topic though - my PC also makes is easy to snipe with the Incisor rifle. No stuttering apart from the small amount of recoil.
