I agree, it seems that BioWare has created the subcategories until after they have started to demonstrate the game itself.  It just seems like it is taking longer this time because they aren't talking about the game yet, I am not sure if we would have even the little information we do if there wasn't the leaks about the game.

I think this is the case and that the General Discussion forums are created a while after the game is officially confirmed so that people can have a place of speculation and discussion without needing to use forums intended for other games.

 

When they are ready and if they decide to demonstrate and provide more information about specific elements such as story, characters and mechanics then the sub-forums are made.

This side of the forums might need to be broken down into sub-forums at some point, but it is way too soon right now. The only thing we know about next Mass Effect game for sure is where it is set. There's just not enough information on the game to justify breaking up discussion of it into several different sub-forums.

As of this post, there are about thirty or so threads by my count on the first page of this forum. Of these thirty or so threads, one is about romance and the other is about nudity. This would leave about twenty-eight or so threads which are not about romance nor about nudity.

 

Where are these twenty threads that you have to wade and what is it you consider of interest that you cannot find in the other twenty-eight or so threads?
