I think a lot of people get wrapped up on the whole "Bioware" thing.  Really though "Bioware" is just a mask over a group of people.  Those people that are making the game.  I think this is a good thing as SP fans by in large were unhappy with ME3 (I completely agree and understand why).  If you have a basketball team and you cut them all then replace them with new people its going to be completely different.

Sure the same basic premise for the game will be there, but that's about it.  I fully expect something like a hybrid MP with some of ME3 mixed in, but a lot its own thing too.  I think SP is going to be an acquired taste as well.  It will be interesting as more and more stuff comes out and especially the game itself.  i just get the feeling when I read this forum sometimes that people are expecting ME1-3 with a new skin on it.

As long as they don't make the MP required for optimal progression and resolution in the single player storyline, I'd be all for it.

Have multiplayer separate, but fully fleshed out with some actual meaningful content and benefits for your single player game.

Truthfully, I'm not expecting anything spectacular. I assume Andromeda will be ME3 with a nice graphic overhaul.

It will probably be most similar to ME1 exploration wise with ME3ish gameplay, hopefully better balanced in the exploration category.

That makes the most sense with everything that they've said and how to accomplish what they want without reinventing the wheel.

Oh my god, hopefully not! I take the graphic overhaul however...

I personally envision something much more akin to Inquisition - large planet-surfaces with lots of more or less intersting stuff (maybe even quests ? ^^) to do, quick-travel-points and the MAKO as a horse-replacement. And mixed in an overarching story-plot that will be advanced by main-missions inbetween the unnecessary sideplots and "exploration"-parts (which I am afraid might not fit with MY vision of exploration however) - ME3 was much more linear than I expect MEA to be

And maybe in regards to MEA this approach might actually turn out better/less alienating than with DAI...because the whole premise of MEA is to run around on planets finding new stuff - while DAI's premise was to wage a friggin war and stop a demonic invasion, not dawdling around the Hinterlands for example - it just felt out of place and would have been better if it had been more linear to some degree, for story-telling-reasons that I do not as severe as in MEA, at least not yet

I'm equal parts excited and worried. I'm hoping for something channelling a lot of me1 & 2. Worried we might end up with a horrible too defined protagonist, rather than the me1/2 approach.

I'm hoping the new game will be like ME2 and DAO rather than ME3 and DAI.

Learn to enjoy the new stuff, i know ME A will be a combo of what ME 3 and DA I was.

Really i learn over the years to be grateful about new game on a franchise i like. And not only that, that every time the game improve overall. ME3 have issue i will not discuss that but improve over the other games.

So i know ME A will be huge, and i will love it. Since we getting the Mako back i know the exploration part will be more like ME 1 or similar too it, since that part of ME 1 was the most bored (do the lack of technical power to make each planet unique)

I know ppl tend to say DA I was bad, but i fail to see where it was bad. So my guess is we getting some armor that will work like DA I where u can mod it.

I want MEA to be a Mass Effect game, not Dragon Age.

I never enjoyed the DA games as much as I've enjoyed the whole ME trilogy (I especially love ME1).

I'd be pretty happy if that turned out to be the case (minus the retarded ending of course.)  However, I have the sinking feeling we'll end up with DAI in space.

i doubt it, ME 2 and DA 2 where similar times, and both are different. Teams are different.

I would prefer it if they didn't have multiplayer at all. I feel like it serves as such a distraction for the developers it takes away from the quality player experience. Just look at Mass Effect 2 v. Mass Effect 3.

Different teams, different studios (SP team was based in Vancouver, MP team was based in Montreal). The two teams were largely independent of each other aside from sharing game assets, and the creation of the Omega DLC.
