No bottles, shards, claiming, astrariums.
I think this'd improve my gaming experience 100%.

Rainer is always Rainer, no Blackwall persona. Darker character overall
How would you do this without rewriting his entire backstory? He couldn't join the Inquisition under that name unless he wasn't hiding from the Orlesians. He'd just have to be some chevalier that wants to join up, and that's not terribly interesting. Heck the Rainier reveal and the dilemma of whether or not you feel he deserves to live is probably the only interesting thing about him.

His entire character arc is trying to atone, so I could see him joining regardless. I'd probably mix his background with Iron Bull, where he is a merc leader with a shadowy past. Zaeed from Mass Effect would probably be an apt comparison.
Most people have already covered a lot of the issues I'd like to change, but I'll reiterate my thoughts...
Less focus on collections, or at least have them all (shards, bottles, mosaics) be part of the Golden Nug.
Less rifts, and have them all be plot relevant instead of MMO feeling filler. Reduce the amount of rifts per map to only one or two but then have them all be as important as Crestwood's lake rift. And once we close the rifts, have the map reflect this change like Crestwood does.
Have the side quests impact the main zone quests more, like the examples of needing to bring a ceasefire to the Exalted Plains in order to gain an invitation to the WP, make us deal with the rebel mages and templars before we're able to enter Redcliffe, make us travel through the old prison in the WA to reach the Wardens and Hawke.
Make the main quest for each zone more on a level with the one in JOH. More memorable NPCs and interesting side quests.
Have Vivienne be useful at the Winter Palace.
One more main quest between WEWH and HLtA and Arbor Wilds, one where Cory appears again and has another victory.
Have an actual use for Skyhold tactically.
Have a toggle option for respawning enemies. Those who don't want to spend lots of time crafting and don't need to farm materials can go about their business without bears popping in the air above them.
Companions being integrated into the plot, even if it means less companions.

By shadowy past, that means that he's hiding what he did, right? That sounds like it would be the same thing, only now he's a merc instead of someone posing as a Grey Warden. In any case, he'd still have to have an alternate identity, otherwise we'd just quickly get the dirt on him from Leliana and we're presented with the choice of what to do with him much earlier on.
That the male characters were not running so stupidly because yesterday i was controlling Dorian and well what do the male characters run stupid in this game their whole upper body moves from left to right and their arms are moving even more their upper body is moving faster then the legs are running and after that i was controlling Iron Bull and that was even worse then Dorian that was not a pretty sight then take the women they are far more gracefully and elegantly then the man characters in this game

You're wrong. The two may be linked to: receive 100 bald head version in the beginning, and 100,000 shards scattered throughout the map. In the first game you can gather the shards, and unlock the hair styles. (1000 shards = 1 hair stile)
What fun and challenge would be! ![]()
That you can pursuit and romance Scout/Lace Harding and not only the flirt option because i like it when you ask her who she is and she says "me i am nothing lived near Redcliffe all my life" and another one "not me though indispensable" and then she laughs that always puts a smile on my face
These are things I used mods for so I guess I'd like them changed:
- More normal body shape, especially elves
- More normal eyebrows and hair styles. Also black hair instead of that weird blue.
- No gathering/loot animation
- No waiting for war table operations
I would also polish the interface for PC, it doesn't need to be huge and all uppercase because we're not on a couch. The cursor in the tactical view was done for controllers, not a mouse. The tactical view could get scrapped altogether as far as I'm concerned.
Area loot, click to loot, and "Take all ( R )" loot would also be big quality of life improvements. They did it in swtor, I don't understand why they made a worse version now.
The double loading screen is strange. You get the normal one with things to read, then it fades to black and you stare at the void for an additional 15 seconds. Me no get it.
These are things to improve the game without turning it into a different game. Yeah I could say make the enemy more interesting, change the areas and so on but it would be another game. These I think are concrete and doable.
1.I would change horrible side quests in dai.
2.I would change horrible tactical mode and remove 8 abilities slot resctriction , plus i would change how attributes work allwoing player to spend them in way the want.
3.I would change that horrible dialogue wheel on old good dialogue system that shows everything that players says not only altered fraction of it , and keep protagonist unvoiced with more possibilities to RP.
4.I would remove import system and replace it with canon , by doing that i would focus saved resources and time on providing more options that differ and matter at least for this specific game.
PC controls.
Text in the game calling character abilities "spells and talents", rather than "skills."
At least 15 spell and talent slots per character, because you're probably going to have 8 different abilities before you even reach Skyhold.
That the bad guys would grow with the player when it comes to level differences and not that you for instance a Mage can kill them in one blow of your mage staff
