This is interesting to say the least. I never thought of a HSol without AR. Since I have 3 of those, I could take one of the HSol and spec it like this. Then I have other 2 kits with AR.

You can also create a Tech burst-staggering machine thusly. However, nothing matches the pure joy derived from Fire 'Sploding HSol Claymore

Why should I get a PC? Is the reload time faster on PC? I don't think it is.

No, but the aiming is faster and better and you can always cancel your reloads.

Adrenalin Rush (make sure not to spec in duration) is really great combined with the Clay more.

And if you really need a third shot, throw a Thermal Clip.

Claymore ... even MORE deadly when fired on full auto

No. Specc into it, you can still reload cancel by pressing the rush button even when it is active, Longer weapon damage bonus will contribute to more death to your enemies   ^_^

I actually prefer the Raider on my shotgun HSol.  Double-tap Claymore is pretty sweet, but quadruple-tap (or even sextuple-tap off-host) Raider tastes just a little bit sweeter.

The reason to not spec duration is to get more free reloads, which are much more important than a longer damage bonus, with a Claymore.

The ability to reload cancel while rush is still active is important for console peasants who are not mustards.

as Deerber said, ... this has nothing to do with Reload Cancel.

It's better to get an additional instant shot, instead of waiting for the clip is reloaded and cancel the animation.

You can also do a fancy build like that HSol(25666):

http://kalence.drupa...13O53324!260GGG

Adrenaline Rush (2): 4 sec duration and 4 sec reload allows you the double fire all the time. Instead of doing 20% more damage you can kill an additional enemy within the 4 seconds.

I'm impressed. You actually have a early warning webcam for sinful...where can we subscribe. I'll pay real money for such trauma prevention.

PS . There's one small trick - SF won't own a Mac, to slick...

Ok, the Claymore is quite nice is some kits, but back to the kroguard.... No way I'll use a Claymore on a kroguard. The kroguard's life depends on being able to BC often to refill barrier. Claymore is extremely heavy, mainly under level X.

There aren't many options of shotguns to use that are decent and light. Disciple and Eviscerator are fine, but they lack firepower. They're slow.

Lightweight Shotgun for BC lovin (200% RC) vanguards? = Disciple, including stagger factor through shields. VG is not a weapons platform... Powers are the primary

Lightweight Shotgun for BC lovin vanguards? = Disciple

I used it already, but I need to understand something. Why would I use the Disciple if the Reegar is so much more efficient? It's a fact that I need high cooldown, so this restricts the options. And from all options, the most efficient one is the Reegar. I understand the weapon might be glitched if used with inci ammo, but whose fault is that? Certainly not mine.

There's a book called "Play to win", it's more focused on competitive MP games, but I agree with many of those things and in ME3, we play against the machine (AI). I can't understand why I shouldn't take advantage of the tool at my disposal to beat the enemies.

It's not like I'll use the Reegar in every kit. But specifically with Jugg and Kroguard, I find it the best option.

As for Sniper Rifles, I've been only using the Indra as I fell in love with it. It's the best assault rifle I have, with a free scope :)

y not reegar?

Stunned Pause -

- the Reegar - It has the highest DPS cheese of all weapons due to the elemental glitch.

Yes - It's is even better on all classes that closes large distances fast. (Fast/Charge). In fact, it is so OP it's best played solo and not with sober friends.

So yeah- load him up- but don't expect veterans/BSN'er to hang around for many rounds, whilst one is on that glitched ego trip.

I'd be outscored regardless of the weapon I use if playing with BSNers (as in moer than one) so I don't think it'd matter :P

But I agree on the solo part, quite useful for solo.

Graal on Kroguard is pretty good.

Don't have it yet. Even when I get it, it'll be lvl 1 and heavy :/

To be fair, the Reegar operates best at greater than 30fps. Reegar on xbox was more of a rarity and I would assume the same is true on PS3. On PC, every PUG is a damned Reegarfest.

Eviscerator X is probably your best bet then, with Smart Choke, High Caliber Barrel and AP or Drill ammo.

Venom II would work, but the playstyle would be a bit different since you won't be charging more often then 7s or so.

Sooooo true. But then again, nothing beats the satisfaction of outscoring a Reegar AIU with a Raider Hunter. :P

That's the thing: I don't see a point on using an Eviscerator, which is quite inefficient. Takes too much time to kill things.

I'm starting with a fresh manifest as well and i would personally just avoid the weapon question altogether and focus on melee until you get better weapons. Just equip a light shotgun/assault rifle if you have the melee mod for that gun. Disciple fits the bill here. Make sure you go for Melee synergy with Biotic Charge and speed up Rage mode.

Using the Reegar on 1 or 2 kits is OK IMO, it's part of the game afterall. I don't think there's something like "acquiring bad habits", as long as the player vary enough what he uses. Besides, using the Reegar obliges to learn how to maneuver at close range with sync-kill units. It's part of the skills one might want to acquire.

I'd probably try the Raider or the Wraith if I were you.

As for the reegar... You should do what you find more fun, really. Most of us loathe that piece of pyjacky sheit, but why should you care about that. You see fit to use it, then do it.

Raider is still heavy, now the Wraith is my favorite shotgun (from the SP), but I don't have it and to get a Wraith X... I probably won't. But the Wraith is awesome!!

I love the Reegar on the Batsol, combined with GC V and Incendiary ammo, for those times I feel like crushing the game.

I recently used this in a couple matches and it was fun. Especially the UUG game that became Glacier Geth, now that was unholy

I wouldn't put that glorified tincan on the most pyjacky awful kit around, let alone a Battlemaster  :P
