Why can't Bioware bring back the most awesome character of their franchise,i mean it was so awesome that the hero survived to the joining and killed an archdemon and he was a renowned hero,so why can't bioware allow me to play as the HoF again?well ok my hero died to kill the archdemon but that's just a little thing we can resolve it with magic right?
No
Let it go

The only way the HoF or his Orlesian Commander substitute will ever appear again is to put an end to the Warden civil war started at the end of DAI.
Just have the guy come in and say "STFU I know how to cure the calling!" and BAM he is crowned First Warden and pledges the Grey Warden's forces to aid the next protagonist against Solas.

Bruh people have been asking for that for 10 years if they're gonna do it they're gonna do it but at this point I don't think being the millionth topic demanding this is helping. If anything, they might never do it out of stubbornness now ![]()

Is it Tuesday?
My Warden is dead, had a nice funeral in Denerim immediately after ending the 5th Blight. If you miss your Warden that much, DA O has a toolset, learn to use it and create your own little gameworld to play with them.

I don't think so.. Here's why.
After Leliana returned to the Chantry Tidus returned to the Denerim Alienage and became a drunk. He never sees Morrigan and his son but, often wonders about them..
Carmine settled down and married a human merchant in Denerim. She remains friends with the Royal couple.
Chasha joined Lanaya's clan as her second. Chasha died from a fever eight years after the blight.
Rikku returned to Orzammar and grew tired of the quiet life.. After changing names and looks she joined a Dwarven surface carta as a enforcer and smuggler. She smuggled lyrium into the conclave and was caught in the explosion and ended up as the Inquisitor.

Eh?
Why Leliana yes but the Hero no? that's not fair.
Because one awful and deeply disrespectful decision from designers is enough. More than enough.

BioWare don't listen to them bring the legend that is the HoF back resurrect the warden so that they will be no more in a Schroodinger state.
They're not, what is going on is "Ican'tletgoitis". It's a common disease on the BSN, mainly contracted by refusal to accept that one character isn't the focal point of the story. It is complicated by minor details such as "it was written into the game that the Warden could die" and refusal to acknowledge such as a valid end choice. Side effects include, but are not limited to the belief that Morrigan's son would be the Inquisitor, and that the HoF could have been the protagonist in DA 2, despite the parallel nature of the two games, initially.
