What's the deal with better hair there are a lot of you guys who wants better hair/styles i can agree with the bad haircut from Sera but the rest what is so bad about it ?

There is even a guy that left because off the bad hair he found a better game

The most important thing in a RPG is the character you are going to use, how exactly you can play a handsome prince, a sexy sorceress, etc etc when all the hairstyles you have are bald and ugly?

Okay but is the hairstyle that important there are more important things then the characters hairstyle

Don't forget the handsome princess

Evil companions. Not puppy-kickers necessarily, but ruthless. DAO had three great evil companions in Morrigan, Zev, and Shale. Get a cold-blooded killer, a social Darwinist like Bishop from NWN2, and a blood mage that is the male equivalent of Morinth.

Bring back the friendship-rivalry system

Trade in the ugly "realistic" character models of DAI for the pretty ones from DAO and DA2. DAI making the world lighter and more beautiful while downgrading the looks of the men and women was an odd choice.

DA2 style personal story over the dull epic one of DAI

DAO-style world, exploration, no open world

Return to the tone of the first two games

Return to the everyman protagonist

No Disney princesses

Reverse the "mages get crappier with every game" trend. More spell variety, more utility magic

I enjoy DA:I but would love to see the following in DA4:

Replace fetch quests with deeper and more involved side quests. Something more than collecting, in fact, I hope the devs just get rid of the collecting.

As far as followers go, more engaging recruitment and loyalty missions, similar to ME2, would be so amazing.

I want banter to trigger properly.

More variety in exploration, not just in the environment and enemy factions, but also in purpose (by purpose I mean a more cohesive reason for my character to be in that particular area). Like Crestwood, you go there to find Hawke's friend and progress in the main story line but find the village is in dire straits. I'm not saying the devs should completely do away with the random unexpected area, just keep those places smaller and connected to the main plot areas, like how the player discovers the Cradle of Sulevin.

The ability to access all of my character's powers in every battle.

Continue having awesome dragon fights...they are so much fun!

Okay but is the hairstyle that important there are more important things then the characters hairstyle

To me the way my characters look is very important, especially in a character heavy, story heavy, cutscene intense game. My problem with the hairstyles was:

-They're unusually low resolution compared to the face/clothes/etc...

-The style choice is much worse than in the previous two games with many questionable choices that don't suit a medieval-esque game such as a Miley Cyrus wannabe, a mullet, a Skrillex wannabe and so on. I feel like whoever chose them had no clue about fashion (including fantasy looks) and just kind of looked at some people on TV and said "this will be hip with the kids these days."

-Most of the styles are variations on bald/crew cut.

-Almost all of them have weird unpleasant and unnecessary additions of sideburns and/or extreme pointy bald/shaved temples. Sideburns should have been part of facial hair, not the hairstyles (especially since even the handful of feminine cuts have sideburns). Enjoy your female characters having facial hair and a receding hairline <_<

-Important characters that should have had unique hairstyles such as Celine who should have blown us away with a ridiculously intricate and fancy style are left with the same unsuitable hairstyles.

The Qunari hair is even worse than the other race's hair in resolution/texture, and style choice. Much worse. As in hair from the vanilla console version of Skyrim put it to shame in every way...

What's distressing about it is that aside from the poor textures/modeling which could have just been lack of skill or resources, the rest were because of weird choices. NOT shaving the temples of every style wouldn't have been any more difficult and would have made the hair look much better, making the traditional Alistair hairstyle that was present in the first two games wouldn't have been more difficult than the mullet that replaced it, NOT modeling a part in the Qunari tiny-bun style would have been easier and made the style look way better, etc...

example:

Spoiler

The armor variation was also extremely limited, especially for Qunari and I miss mage robes :(

I could go on about it for a long time (and some will know that I have), with many reasons, and reasons I find compelling. I think it is actually a much more important thing in an RPG than it may appear at first. But I don't feel like rewriting that much, and Nefla has already written many of the reasons, so instead I'll simply link you to an album I made specifically for a moment like this, which showcases every hair "style" in Inquisition.

And you can tell me how many of those look good. And while you're there, notice how many of them have mandatory sideburns and/or a receding hairline. Yet, females and males-who-don't-like-suideburns are stuck with that.

I would like to see some better origins, Something i could make some good head canons with.

DA:O style where they give you lots of detail and lots of chances to express the type of character you are. Or Fallout New Vegas style where it gives you the perfect amount of details but still keeps it very vague so you can totally head canon your origins.

I would also like to see more complicated companions, Characters who's opinions can change or are hypocrites. IDK i just don't think Inquisition companions(as much as i love them) Stack up to OG DA:O companions when it comes to personality and depths.

But honestly I just want Merril back in DA:4  :D

What i would like to see in Dragon Age 4

That the romance option was a little more diverse so why not the other way around and have your companions make the first move when it comes to romance why is it always the Inquisitor that have to make the first move let them come with flirts flowers and stuff and why leave it at one attempt why not two or three and that you can make the choice to pursuit that person or not and let's make it even more interesting why not two lovers one main lover and one mistress male/female just like Vivienne had with Bastien i don't want to turn it into a lover/sex game that is definitely not what i want but a little more interesting when it comes to romance is not so bad
And why stop at the companions there are more persons out there for instance Lace Harding in Dragon Age Inquisition she can pursue the Inquisitor or another person male/female outside the companion circle

Okay i saw http://imgur.com/a/Zmg0H and you are right there are not a lot off good options to pick from i myself only use two haircuts for my female character and yes that is not very much you are right about that and i looked at my Inquisitor up close yesterday ( and that was the first time that i looked up close ) and someone said that it looks like a wig and he is right but for me that is not such an important thing off course if the option was there to pick more longer hair then i would most certainly use it i'm just saying that i am already glad that the graphics do not look like the graphics in "Minecraft" anymore there are just more important things then my characters haircut

I got inspired by someone on this Forum to make this topic I myself have nothing but i bet you guys have some really nice stuff that Bioware could use in their next game

And let's hope that Bioware click this topic and read the posts that you make and get inspired by some of the good ideas that you guys have

1. I want to play as the Inquisitor again

2. Improved mount animation

3. Not too many gay options (considering that irl 1 person per 10 is gay, having half of ur romancable companions gay is more than enough)

4. I still want the war table.

5. Upgradable prosthetic arm for my Inquisitor...

6. ... which means - even more crafting :) !

7. More difficult puzzles for side quests.

8. More vivid map. The one in DAI is fine, but very static.

9. I wanna be able to romance VARRIC!

10. If it does not affect the quality of the game - considering lowering prices for the DLCs.

Has anyone ever actually used this hairstyle on their inquisitor..

Thedas isn't earth, the same rules DO NOT APPLY.

And half of the romanceables aren't gay, only 2 of them are. Rest are straight or bisexual.

The Witcher made an attempt to make the hair look more natural. Before I switched my processor from fx6300 to fx 8350 (r9 270x 2gb, 12gb ram) , fps was sometimes dropping from 30 to 5. I imagine that consoles would choke on naturally looking hair ;)...... Booh consoles, BOOOH!

I want gorgeous hair on my female character and I want to make her beautiful.

I want to have deep characters and as someone above me mentioned, I would love it if the love interests would make the first move for once, just like in the real world, cause I don't usually parade around and throw myself in the arms of men in real life either, so it feels unnatural to do it in these games. There should be choices, both kind, some companions could make the first move and others could wait for you to make it. That way it's more realistic.
