Above all, a greater relation between main quest and side quests.

E.g In DAI , Tevinter Ritual tower should be accessible after conquering Griffon Keep and we should definitely get rid of all Venatori areas Keep, Still Ruins and control all Western Approach camps and Keep if we are to move massive army through that area. Similar logic applies for Emerald Graves --> Temple of Mythal.

Avoid large areas which are unrelated to both main story & inner circle like Hissing Wastes

Include missions like Templars in Crestwood shown in the first demo

Better Hair!!

Option for body choice

A short origin type intro for PC. Also have the PC background seem logical to the story.

E.g. In DAI, the proper backgrounds should have been

Human Mage               --> Free Marches Circle

Human/Qunari/City Elf --> Mercenary Company from Free Marches hired by Divine

Dalish Elf                     --> From Lavellan clan

Surface Dwarf             --> Kirkwall Merchants Guild security

If they do, can there at least be one origin with none whatsoever as well? I really don't want forced family connection like they did with some of the Wardens and especially with Hawke. I want our background to remain ambiguous.

Well, it was a bit like that with DAO. Circle mages had more-or-less blank backgrounds (besides a very tenuous Amell connection...) and the Dalish Warden had no living parents.

I'm not saying there shouldn't be one, but to be fair, in real life family connections or lack-thereof are forced too :P

You mean like the one with Loghain hiring Zevran? I guess it comes down to whether or not Bioware wants us to have insights into the story that go beyond what our protagonist is experiencing. The obvious downside to that is that it heavily encourages metagaming, even on first playthroughs.

- Race Selection for the PC (human, elf, dwarf, and qunari)

- Fewer Menial tasks to complete (collectibles: bottles, shards, mosaics, and resource gathering)

- More focus on story (Main, Companion, and Meaningful side stories)

- Better integration between Main Story and Exploration

- No large exploration zones that are just there to explore with only thin veiled connections to the Main Quest (Hissing Wastes)

- More Meatier/deeper Side Quests (fewer Fetch Quests/Kill Quests/Collect Quests/Escort Quests)

- Fewer trash mobs of random enemies wandering around each area/Lower frequency of spawn and respawn rate of enemies

- Story Mode/Narrative Difficulty for people who just want to enjoy the story and characters

- Longer/more involved companion quests

- No more war table operations tied to real-time timers

- No Psuedo-Platforming or "Tight-Rope Walking" to get to secrets and loot

- Race specific prologues to help establish the background of the PC

- More screen time for the villains and antagonists; make us hate or love to hate them.

- More Main Quests in total (at least double the number of Inquisitions Main Quests)

- 9 Companions/3 of each class = the perfect setup of companions (ala Inquisition)

Yes, but because it's my character I want to decide myself what kind of family they have (if any). I'm always annoyed when there is some forced family members because that takes away control of what my characters backround and relationships are like. That's why I only like Mahariel & Surana in Origins. And why I love DAI. I want to be able to decide as much as possible. The less someone else has defined your characters backround the better. 'You are from a Dalish Clan wandering the Free Marches' is perfect amount of information to give the player. No more, no less. Mass Effect also did this very well because if you like you can choose a backround with family or no family. Something for everyone.

If we get to play "Qunari" I would welcome a return to the DA 2 Design, or something like that? The horns on their human faces felt really strange in Inquisition. Also, i would like for the playable character to be, if not from Tevinter, at least from a country near by, so they wouldn't be totally strangers to this land. After all, if we are there to spy for the Inquisitor, it would be bad that we couldn't hide in the masses to do our work !

What if they pulled a NWN2: MotB on us, and we woke up possessed and had to find a way to cope/kill it/remove it whilst avoiding people who want to shank us?

Yaaaaass.

-Motion capture based movements.
-Fighting animations should be improved by putting different fighting styles of each class, motion capture sword swings, dual weapon fighting styles, and staff fighting techniques to be more fluid.
-Dynamic open world with day-night, have people busy like shopping, kids playing, working, etc, and weather. (Take notes from Assassin's Creed for environmental/open world design)
-Overhaul classes and specializations
-Create a button system for both combat based and RPG similar to Witcher.
-Have abilities and spells to have no individual cooldowns but monitored by the stamina/mana meter instead.
-Have blocking, dodging, and parrying on default buttons instead of shuffling buttons for them.
-Add sleeping to get rest to rejuvenate health and XP. Also if you're a mage you can visit and travel The Fade every time you sleep.
-Revamp and redesign The Fade a combination of: The Soul Cairn, The Apocrypha, some from Hell, and Aetherius.
-Bring back shapeshifting class.
-Set up meaningful story driven side quests.
-Spice up romance and sex scenes (make them better than Witcher)
-Improve horse mounts and animations (learn from Red Dead Redemption)
-No fixed driven cliché hero story
-Introduce combo-based combat and puzzle solving elements

Non-combat options handled by a skill system modeled on either Fallout (I don't care which one) or Dungeons and Dragons (I'm partial to 3.5 or 5, though I guess 4 and 5 are about the same in that one area.)

(I didn't read the OP, so I'm not sure whether I was supposed to limit myself to things that might happen. If so, I guess I just want to finally be able to summon demons?)

1) Tactics from DA:O. They suck in Inquistion. I constantly have Dorian using fear on lone enemies rather than groups.

2) Open World again, but not completely empty areas. The Hinerlands is supposed to be full of little villages, not empty space filled with bears.

2) Crafting, but it's got to be refined and involve less grinding.

3) As someone above said: Night and day. And changing weather. Why's it always sunny in the Hinterlands, and rainy on the storm coast? Why's it only ever dark in the Hissing waste's?

4) NO MORE POINTLESS FETCH QUESTS. CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW BIOWARE?!

I'm pretty sure people have already covered this stuff but oh well.

1) I hope we get to fight dragons again.

2) LI's should interact with the main plot. Or at least their LI-specific content should be meatier.

3) Background music. It is insufferable to trek along huge maps with no music or banter.

4) Better hair. I'm sure everyone's mentioned this tho.

5) Armour variety. I feel like the designs were 90% coats and I wasn't too fond of those.

6) More opportunities for us to flesh out our PC's background.

7) No cool down times and no limit on how many skills we have access to at a time.

Well, the fact that there's enough depth that you can spend 15 hours is an improvement over Neverwinter Nights and Jade Empire, at least.

If there was decent depth i wouldnt be starting over 9\10, in my case i have to make sure the character is unique but can pull off decent face animations too otherwise i reload, fallout 4 took 10 mins to get it perfect, the lack of decent presets dont help matters

1.  Better hairstyles - I don't need amazing 3d quality hair blowing in the wind but honestly the hairstyles in the game for females are just hideous - and yes it is a big deal for me.  Every time I look at my char it looks ugly and there's a couple Inquisitors I want to make but every time I get to the character creation screen they just look so ugly I give up.  Considering it's an MMO it's fairly low res but take a look at the female Elder Scrolls Online options: https://youtu.be/UQe...gHqfIM?t=3m20s A selection like that would be soooo amazing (and if they don't want to deal with clipping they could shorten some of those styles in the back).

2.  I'd really really like to see the Black City.

3.   If they're keeping the open world idea, I'd like to see a bit stronger plot for each zone and a bit more interaction between your companions and the zones.  As it is except for the main story sections in DAI - the rest of the world felt very disassociated. I would much rather them have had one to two less zones and spent more time expanding the story in the other zones.  It wasn't horrible for the first playthrough, but I really notice it when replaying.  At least in DA2, even though you saw the same caves again and again -> you could change your character's tone throughout so it didn't quite feel like the same thing again and again.

4.   A culmination at the end of the game that makes you and your companions look more like a complete team - show everyone that isn't in the "chosen group" doing something - this is sort of a combination of what you see at the end of DA:O and ME2.  In DA: O you have the second group of companions that help to guard the city gates.  In ME2 it's the other team who takes an alternative path.

5.  More ways to get companions killed and perhaps some required deaths.  I'm really not bloodthirsty but I really like the option of making the game more dynamic through choices.  It can be through direct choices -> Ashley or Kaiden in ME1 or something more subtle like Mordin sacrificing himself if you've allowed him to cure the genophage in ME3.

Race selection!

The ability to play a Tevinter elven slave.

More revelations on ancient elven history, culture, magic, etc.

More revelations and explorations on Qunari culture and their invasion.

The ability to rebel against or reform Tevinter.

Solas plot!

The Inquisitor coming back (don't care how), particularly to stop Solas.

The Solavellan romance to end with closure. (Preferably happily.)

Be able to improve things for elves everywhere and KEEP things improved.

Also, if they can spare the resources:

More dwarven revelations and explorations.

A black-haired, hardass female (like Morrigan, Miranda, Jack, or Cassandra) to romance as a woman.

An elven companion who isn't anti-elf all game. (I hope BioWare got it out of their system with Solas and Sera constantly badmouthing all modern elven cultures to a Dalish Inquisitor for DAI.)

At least one Elven romanceable companion for elven protagonists of both genders!

Romanceable dwarf companion.

Romanceable female vashoth companion.
