Hazard Gaint.

Between the patato frame drops, meme leak, dark disorientating vision made worse by constant flashes of light that also comes with constant screen shake, it is the hardest map for precise aiming bar none on PS3.

Why it's made much worse on PS3 (especially if hosting against Collectors or Ceberus) because the terrible frame rate greatly adds to making everything a blur while moving the camera in search of targeting enemies. Analog aiming is less precise with less frames. Situational awareness takes a big dive too. And when you do line up an enemy headshot, screen shake stagger will make you miss. All that's missing is a Venom Heavy Melee FragNade spamming Destroyer with AdrenMod3's always following you.

Uggh. I haven't played ME3 on Peasetree since June 2015. I wonder how it is now.

^ Even after one game on PC then going back to PS3 is very disorientating that I need a few waves to adjust. Not much better on X-Box. But still, when frames really drop on PS3, and it's much more when hosting (along with more memory leak), it's a nightmare. But hosting is still needed because of how many things only work or work consistently as host. Playing off host is pretty good on PS3, but the extra frame stuttering you get on host with some map/faction setup is really a mess.

Memory leak even happens without Collector matches on PS3. Cerberus is the next in line from what I've seen. So Cerberus with a bad map and hosting = memory leak too. But I never see a crash with Cerberus. Even at 1 frame every 15 seconds (worst memory leak I've seen). Only Praetorians seems to cause crashes.

Hazard giant + collectors + gold or platinum + wave 10 or 11 + PS3 = At least 50% chance of a disconnect or hard freeze. Me and my friends got to the point where we flat-out refused to pick random just because we were tired of Harbinger indoctrinating our systems. Hazard giant + collectors is hell on PS3 and not because it's difficult.

SF, supremocognito (evnltn), (probably our only Bengali) explained all of this memleak avoidance in a post a while back.

Collectors: You can play even collectors on plat, but it requires u to know your wave budget and limit the number of praetorians instantaeously to 2 (even if it means missiling), as well as limiting the swarmers. For some reason most pugs missed the fact that they have large squishy heads with marvellous hs bonus.

Long story short one can manage the wave budget on gold generally as only bsn'er in a game, whilst the rest of the pug aims for the feet, ignores swarmers, and do things that pugs do like running around/away avoiding known spawn points etc etc

Memleak prob2 : starting without a full lobby. This is the most common one. Leaks occur Ca 33% of the time when a player fill an empty spot ingame. The host (ps3) takes a leak. And the game starts to show this through stutters all the way onwards till finishing w11. So, faithfully ignoring this early warning , the rest of the players stays/ goes their own way - or jumps all over the world to other new lobbies with their mem leaks, happily suitcased and ready to spread. All would've been happier if the stutter-jacks would simply reboot (only 2 min wasted )(after the receiving the early warning) and joined lobbies fresh. My last freeze was ca 1 month ago.

Hazard Ghost Collectors is a super bad (yes I said 'super-bad)  combo, Host or not.

Collectors, can be a problem on any Map though. Like last night on Vancouver, extraction wave hard freeze with 30 seconds to go.

There's been more than a few "Serenity now!!, serenity now!!" moments due to the Collectors.

Actually, now that I think about it, I've had a lot of bad luck on Vancouver with Collectors.

Sounds like a L2P issue. I dropped into a Giant Hazard game on w8 yesterday and still managed 20hs medal despite a flamer spamming toaster constantly getting in the way between its bouts of getting carried and bleeding out.

True PS3 players are forged of iron and steel in the fires of lolmemleak and noframes land. We toil on fighting the Reapers and toasters, half blind and hobbled in conditions that cause lesser players to complain. It's why we're the Master Race.

^ What does learn to play have to do anything with? Even if I were the best player, there still has to be a worst map for playing due to too many lost frames among other issues. Hazard Giant even memory leaks against Ceberus if hosting. My last game on it with SpectrePierogi even started missing floor textures. Play any map with memory leak frames and something like to the Talon with a scope and tell me going for headshots is easy peasy. Heck, at 1 frame per every 15 seconds on Goddess once, I had to walk backwards to the LZ, because with that much image delay, it was impossible to aim the camera toward the LZ (I still had to reset because 2 minute extraction wave seemed to have stretched into infinity).

And Geth are the easiest faction to headshot because the move slowly in a straight line and contain the most mooks. So I don't need to hear how easy the are to headshot.

60 fps should be a minimum requirement on NextME on consoles. At least for the MP version, I wouldn't mind 720p if they can keep frames above 60.

But I probably will be getting Next ME:A on the PC anyway.

(overheating)

Time 4 Coolaid. Take the PS3 heatsink cream /paste that you're not using and brush your teeth with it. The frames drops are not reduced but at least it's in psychedelic technicolor.

Adapt and overcome or go back to a lesser system if you need crutches. The Reapers don't care about your weak excuses that the frames were in your eye or whatever.

I was playing vs derperus for the game mentioned. The toaster was supposedly on my team (tho you can never be sure with them).

Well, with the possible exception of a slightly diminished playerbase, I'd say it's just about exactly the same as you left it. In other words, absolutely fine 95% of the time, which makes it considerably less glitchy than Fallout 4.  :P

Had back to back hard freezes Sunday with gold collectors. 1st one under a minute to go on extraction wave, came back a couple of hours later and got one heading to last device on wave 10 (Glacier & Giant, respectively). Played several golds and platinums that night with no issues until last one wave 7 just couldn't move period. Playing with so buddies so tried to rejoin twice and got wfop both times, never got back in. Truly aggravating, then pugged one last game, joined lobby with low CP players and they kicked me, drunk and incensed, I searched again, knew that I would join same lobby GIP and damned if didnt. Went on a profanity laced drunken tirade for the wave. Pugs?

OT, the 2 maps host or off-host that I find messy are Hazard Giant and Goddess on PS3. But, as Grunt said, 95% of time PS3 still works fine. Just that 5% and credits lost with maxed manifest problems that gets real aggravating.

My last freeze was ca 1 month ago.

you are ready to switch from silver to gold, then. :D

Btw.: I had a freeze on Collectors White Bronze. I've killed the first Praetorian, then the second one lasers my PS3 to Freeze.

First I was confused, that I had a second Praetorian in a Bronze Wave, then i recognized that my system stuck. Maybe someone joined.

Still missing my point. What you saying is that there's no yin or yang and that everything is equal. And I'm saying there still has to be a worst map on PS3. They weren't all created equal. Then again, this is a fantasy forum were we're all kitties and quarians playing Mass Effect in perfect complaining harmony.

I don't know about that. Seems I'm much more likely to end up in the same lobby I'm trying to avoid on PC then PS3. Ending up in the same lobby or game 5x or more in a row on PC just doesn't happen on PS3 for me.

Sure, but last I read it I didn't say anything about playing as host leads to lower frames and faster memory leak. And that you can still get memory leak without Collectors by playing on potato frame maps with Cerberus farmers. I just never get a crash from fighting Cerberus is the only twist.

My worst mem leak was as host with Cerberus was on Goddess in that SpectrePierogi match (still haven't had a good explaintion as to how it was on the other end?) where I thought I was going to freeze, but instead the frames kept getting worse and worse up till 1 frames per 15 second during the second half of extraction wave. I eventually had to quit as after 10 minutes of waiting to extract still nothing was happening. I think I would of extracted if everyone wasn't going crazy nuking that wave. As with each nuke, the frames starting crying more and more. Snap Freeze also seemed to contribute to worsening the memory leak with each cryo explosion leading to a big frame hiccup followed by lower overall frames until the next rocket or snap freeze. So basically anything that seems demanding on CPU processing contributes to memory leak. So basically don't play as snap freezer spammer and don't nuke unless it's a PS3 butt laz0r crashing

Praetorian. (Funny thing too, every PS3 crash I've had was in front of a Praetorian)
