Oh it was something Duncan had that cured her? I thought it was the accelerated tainting that somehow did it.

Bearing that in mind, my understanding is that Duncan was exposed to the same effect, but had previously stolen a dagger (he had a habit of stealing as a former street rat) which turned out to be enchanted in such a way as blocked the effect. When the Architect had fled and the effect was gone Duncan handed it to Fiona, and the accelerated Taint interacted with the dagger's magic in a way speculated to render her immune to The Calling. (Duncan was not effected the same way because he had not had his Taint accelerated.) I don't think it had yet been established that this immunity was created by making her a non-Warden who could not be retainted; that, I think, we only learn in Inquisition.
