Just finished the "Citadel" DLC and have a question.  CloneShep says he was created for spare parts for the reconstruction of the real Shepard in the Lazarus Project.  In my playthrough Shepard was reconstructed into a cybernetic biotic-user.  So why would CloneShep have biotics and be as tough as the real Shepard?  Wouldn't he be a clone of the original non-cybernetic Shepard?  Not to mention that my Shepard got further enhancements in ME2 after leaving the Cerberus research station.

If you read the comic - Mass Effect Library Edition volume 2, you learn all about Maya and the clone appears in that.  It was being made in case they couldn't find Shepard's body, but once they did they got rid of it.

Maya was unhappy about that so stole the clone from Cerberus.  I assume she upgraded it over the time ME2 and 3 happen, turning him/her into the person you meet in the DLC.

Also if she wanted to swap them she'd make her clone the image of the original Shep, including powers, so that no-one would notice the difference.

Thanks. I've only played the games and read one book so far.

Also, and I say this coming from the perspective of someone who tends to play Soldier class, Kaidan mentions that Shepard has L3 implants in ME1.  Biotics are already present.

What are you on OP? The clone and in fact the whole DLC are not supposed to be taken as serious lore. It's a last minute hurrah and tongue in cheek fun!

If you're expecting things to follow logic I don't know see how the Citadel DLC would be enjoyable...
