How come I can get the Digital Deluxe Edition of this game on Origin for £14.99, yet if I want to buy myself a Collectors Edition for the codes, I have to pay release day prices on places like Ebay and Amazon? Some times even more than that. It's been 3-4 years since this game was released, people. It's not rocket science people, I should be able to get it cheap, or at least cheaper than what it's showing online. Has anyone else noticed this? I am not paying over £70 for an unused physical copy of the game, 3-4 years after it's release people!

Note: I have played the game. I simply messed up the codes on my accounts, so I bought it on this account to be able to use the codes.

Physical items keep their value, especially if they are unopened,

In the end it is worth what people are willing to pay and people are willing to spend that seventy pounds in order to get a new physical copy.

I bought Trilogy first and when ME3 didn't work, I had to go through EA customer service like 5 times and the last advisor replaced my standard edition copy with N7 Collector's Edition for causing me inconvenience. That's how I got it. Later I saw "From Ashes" DLC as free for both Collector's and Digital Deluxe Edition in here, so again I contacted support and convinced them to add it. I got that DLC for free too.

And yeah, I wondered why there is no N7 Collector's Edition for sale on Origin.

The collector's edition was a limited production run. Unlike the digital editions, there *can never be* more produced.

Limited supply, means the prices remain high.

okay, well before I splash out the cash. Can I register a Collectors Edition game on my account and get it's CE only content on my DDE and vice versa? If not, then there's no point in getting it.

Yes, you can.

I have the Collector's Edition N7 pack on my Digital Download Deluxe edition install.

It's all based on product keys. With the CE, you get two product keys. One is for the CE N7 pack, the other is for the ME 3 game and From Ashes.

Since you have the ME 3 DDE, you already have From Ashes and the base game, so adding the N7 pack product key will register it to the account.

For whatever reason, even though I HAD the game already, one day I went into CEX and there was a steelbook case for ME3 and I thought it was great. So I bought it for £10. Turned out to be the entire Collector's Edition, all DLC codes etc. working, came with everything, no damage, it was essentially brand new.

Probably the luckiest buy I've ever had in that store, since I don't usually go in :)

Yes indeed, that's the Collector's Edition. It wasn't just disks, it was the case and a bunch of physical knicknacks and a couple of books, if I remember right. That's why there are no Collector's Edition available from EA; It's not all digital.
