Part of the fun of multiplayer for me is collecting new characters and weapons, now I've unlocked all but one of the characters and most of the weapons so is there a way I can reset everything so I can start again?

Thanks.

The easiest way would be to start a new account. This would preserve your existing manifest, if you wanted to return to it someday.

If you are on PS3, you can start a new account at no cost, with only an e-mail address. If you are on Xbox, it would require paying for a second XBL account, so not worth it that way, and on PC, as I understand it, you have to purchase a copy of the game to register under the new account, which would be worth it if you don't mind paying whatever it is (I'm guessing around $10) for having a second account.

If you really want to reset your manifest, you could ask one of the people from the team if they would do it for you. They can, but the process is irreversible, so you would need to be sure, and you could be waiting a long time for one of them to get back to you, since there hasn't been anyone employed to work on ME 3 MP since early 2013. There are some who occasionally still check in, but there would be no real way to know how long you'd be waiting for that.

Thanks for the replies, I considered creating a new account but I don't want to shell out money for ps plus again which is what I've heard you have to do.

Nope, no need for that. PS Plus is not required for gaming online with a PS3 (unless they very recently changed that, since I played on my PSN account about a month ago.)

You can create a second account (you'll need an e-mail address, different from your current account) using the PS 3 dashboard. Once you've registered the account on PSN, you can play ME 3 MP with that account. Obviously, you will not receive any of the benefits of PS Plus with that account, but that doesn't have any impact on the ME 3 MP experience.

Join the master race! ME3MP will likely last longer on PC than the console versions and purchasing a copy of ME3 on PC is cheap by comparison to a new account on console.

Well... not on PS3, where it costs nothing to create a new account.

True, but there are other benefits by playing on more than one platform. More BSNers, mods, etc.

Jeremiah12LGeek: Great point, I completely forgot that it's free on PS3, I'm going to create a new account right now, thanks for that.

Well, to be precise - I gather you like me to be precise! ;) - it depends on the platform:

PC - Need new Origin account (free) and new copy of the game.

Xbox 360 - Need new XBL account (expensive) but can use same copy of the game.

PS3 - need new account (free) and can use same copy of the game.

WiiU - need new account (free) and can use same copy of the game.

So PS3 and WiiU players suffer no issues apart from those already afflicting their respective platforms. PC players who want an alt can create a new Origin account and get an extra copy of the game when it's on sale for about $5 as regularly happens, and Xbox 360 players have to fork out for a new XBL subscription. Although, in that latter case, it's often possible to get a coupon for a few days or even a month with a new game or as part of some other promotion, so one can try out the alt life for a short period to see if one likes it.

He is on psn+ , so he can simply create a new ps account...

In the bigger scheme of things, why would one want to reset, if u can create an alias for free(/$5), anyway? U said that u maxed almost all weapons, and that will be painful schlepp to repeat with the store - so i'd imagine u really meant only common weapons. You'd be very "unique" if u would want reset all your UR weapons

Whatever u have done in the first 180? Hours is anyway not making a large difference towards the >1200 hours u have to invest to max ur manifest.

And u can always promote your characters back to l1 if u like the thrill...
