I don't get on all that much, but appreciate a player to play with! You can't unlock all those doors by yourself!

OK, so here's what I've discovered about the Arcane Warrior...
Spirit Blade:
- Never forget to use Spirit Blade when stuff gets too close.
- Don't upgrade Spirit Blade unless you've got a very good strategy/reason to do so.
Other abilities:
- Take the Fade Cloak and Fade Step and upgrade both for damage and survival.
- Take Pull of the Abyss if you want to help your team kill things faster.
- If you took Fade Step and upgraded it to Frost Step, don't forget to use it!
- If you're fighting Shield-carrying enemies, you can chill them with Frost Step, then use Fade Cloak and stand as close to them as you can and then Spirit Blade them as they get blasted when you uncloak.
- Stone Fist and Veil Strike are fun and all but Chain Lightning is your bread and Spirit Blade is your butter.
Gear:
- Try to upgrade your staff/accessories with Heal on Kill items, it helps even if you rely on your barrier as a second HP bar.
- Critical Hit Chance doesn't hurt either, since it raises your barrier faster.
General strategy and words of encouragement:
- Always Attack, never back down.
- Never feel bad if you don't seem to be as good as someone else, they probably have better gear, higher promotions and in most cases... both!
I'm LordOfPit on both PSN and XBL although I play DAI:MP more on PS4 currently.

I'll shoot ya an add. I normally stone fist shields putting them on the ground or sleep.
The idea of heal on kill/hit id's astounding, but i have only gotten a lower level staff that did it. No luck on accessories either.
What do you think for add ons? % damage and crit chance was what i am thinking so far. ( i wanted healing, but apparently its from cotton which i have yet to obtain ).

Lower level staff is where we all begin, keep playing and you'll get a good one (or 10) eventually. ![]()
Same goes for accessories really... it took me a while but I have two Heal on Kill rings now!
Regarding add-ons it's simple really... anything that helps you do more damage translates into faster generation of barrier so I'd put crit-chance and attack and whatever else you can find. Prioritize crit-chance over crit-damage, of course.
Regarding Stone Fist... yes, there was a time when I ran with Stone Fist and even Pull of the Abyss. They're both good abilities. However, the double-Fade build proves to be the most survivable because having two Fade abilities provides mobility, phasing (so they can't hit you) plus damage that stacks with everything else you do.
I will say this though: whatever staff you fight with determines (mostly) what your strategies are going to be and therefore what abilities you bring with you into battle.
I used to play a lot with a frost staff that blew up enemies once they die, my strategy therefore was to collect enemies around me, hit them with Spirit Blade and Chain Lightning then focus on the weakest of them and kill it so it'd blow everyone else causing a cascade explosion much like the Necromancer's Walking Bomb.
Keep grinding, it's fun... ![]()

I seen one video of a guy using said build to solo Perilous, looked interesting.
Currently my "best" staff is a common level 20 staff with 100 or so dps ( that's with a rune ). I keep trying and trying, but i think the large chest has it out for me..

Don't despair and take comfort in knowing that when I'll come to play DAI:MP on the XB1, I'll be starting out with no special weapons either! ![]()
