No "leaked" information is gonna be actual information in my book until written or told to us word for word by BioWare themselves.

All I'm hoping for at the moment is that the closest to "information reveal" we'll get is during this year's E3. Right now Andromeda seems to be a better guarded state secret than the secrets we know nothing about. Heck we know more about Area 51 than about Andromeda. But I'm fine with that, better for them not to reveal the game in an unfinished state only to "cut content that was shown months ago during an Alpha build that was inexplicably shown to the public in such a way as to actually promote the game". I'll wait until they feel confident that what they have to show will not only make it to the final game, but once we play the final version it's gonna be even more polished than what they showed during various events prior to release.

Well, fans are just not comfortable with almost no info about ME:A. Of course I'm hoping that ME:A will come out as the best Mass Effect game we've ever played. To achieve that the game needs great narratives, interesting gameplay, brilliant quest and level design, and many other qualities a great game required. So far we know almost nothing. Though I have strong faith in ME:A, I would be lying if I say I'm not worried a little bit.

Yeah, not entirely surprising for a sci-fi game with previously established AI as well. I like it because I think Bio writes better aliens than humans.

I agree.

Unrelated but, I also agree with your Chrono Cross avatar and name reference.

Wow you really are intellectually challenge. What I have an '80's musician in my avatar that is female so you can't tell that someone named GothFATHER is male? I think you are the one who needs milk and must be feeling stressed when you can't even be accurate with your sexist remarks. Not exactly a stellar example of your mental prowess now is it? Just like thinking asking for evidence is not sceptical but dismissive.

~golfclap~

Seriously, is it normal for person to be this stressed 24 hours per day? Don't blame me, you need a hug. I'm as chill as I could be. I guess you can read tones, right?

Watch out for some milk.

So, what you're trying to say is that Cora is a blonde bimbo?

Back on topic.   I think he's shooting directly from the hip and not even knowing whether or not the person is being direct with him.  We're so thirsty that any news is good news.

EDIT :  There's a youtube vid out there from early on the stages of Andromeda's development where they first showed off the Mako.  It was at San Diego ComicCon, I believe.  This was before they could even talk about the name, so expect a lot of "I can't talk about that." However, there is a question in there that's relevant.  It is something along the lines of, "We've heard that there will be no loading screens on next gen consoles?  Is that true?"  The guy at BioWare does his best to answer him saying they're relatively new and they'll just have to wait and see.  Well, it looks like we've seen, or those special select few have seen.

Cora could be an Asari, most Asari names end with an 'a', like Liara, Aria, Shiala, Benezia, Samara. From gameplay perspective players always get two squad mates in the first mission, and these characters may be an important part of the story. Cora and Drake PO mentioned could be our starting companions. Just thinking...

And I think that's what bothers me the most.  The fact that I'll rush through the first two-three hours and not even pay attention to how I meet them, or the fact that I'll just meet them and say, "Let's go!"  Both leave me with a cold hard pit in the bottom of my stomach.  At least I know that if I rush it, I can always come back and replay it and not have to worry about other games.

Hahaha, I forgot completely about him.   Not as memorable as Shaundi, Gat, or Pierce though.

-Glyph says "One day, I too hope to possess combat capabilities like yourselves.".

-Mass Effect: Andromeda conceived around the time Mass Effect 3: Citadel was being made.

-Rumor suggests a male synthetic companion.

Who would stop the Krogans this time if they go beast mode attacking and colonizing Andromeda natives.

I can't see the Milky Way Council getting butthurt on the behalf of a different galaxy that has done nothing for them.

Everything keeps bringing up questions about wtf 'canon' is followed/what story matters.

Like sure that's nice for a Wrex peace outcome, but there's others too, including Krogan not giving a damn about anyone else and only temporarily assisting the Turians to stop the Reapers just because there's no other way.

I guess technically a character could be written that is expansionist but also a moderate about it personally.

Nah, I prefer quality over quantity ... but of course more squadmates also mean its more likely everyone finds his/her preffered squad-setup, and not being forced to play with idiots you don't like. But I also have to admit: Once I "fell in love" with some chars I hardly experiment with the others that didn't "click with me" the first seconds (say hello to Jack, Grunt, Samara, Zevran, Sten, Vivienne, Cole (! meh!), Blackwall ... ^^)

I agree here, I also have crush on characters and play with them all the time. For ME1 it was Garrus and Wrex all the way. For ME3, Garrus obviously and I alternately used Javik or EDI for the third slot but I never "loved" them. Then, back to ME2, Garrus, Mordin, Kasumi, Samara, Thane. I've changed the team depending of the missions, it was really pleasant, this is why I love to have plenty of playable characters ~

I want quality and quantity... I know I'm demanding too much ! :P

Haha, the DAI characters, I don't have Cole for now (currently playing DAI) but I understand about Vivienne and Blackwall.... not my cup of tea either !

OK got to talk to my buddy more.

So the ship flying around happen's somewhat like in the trailer as I said. You CAN partially direct the shuttle to the planet as you land, he did not know if there were limits to that.

Now weapons. Some weapons have cool down, some have thermal clips. Mods are back in full force and there are beam weapons. Mods work in synergy so some mods will complement one another better than others meaning the whole might be more than the sum of the parts. He also said you can mod some weapons to take clips OR cool down.

Apparently a lot of this revolves on finding ancient artifacts of a civilization that colonized that part of andromeda in the past. Sounds suspiciously familiar.

It's kind'a reminiscent of Tomb Raider.  Find four parts to make this gun.  It may be in other games, as well.  I'm just thinking of the most recent.  Of course, this is still in production so anything goes.  While I enjoyed Tomb Raider for what it was, it was more for the story experience.  I haven't reopened it since I've completed the game.

Not completely surprised, arriving in a portion of Andromeda fully inhabitated by spacefaring races might have been problematic.

It'll be interesting what role any indigenous species have and how we're  going to be able to approach issue.

Not too surprising. DAI does this all the time on my rig. I guess it's a Frostbite thing?

On my rig the game can be a bit slow about loading the floor in Skyhold, which is a bit of a problem

You mean like a laser sight and a damage mod doing double the crit and/or doing higher damage (than simply the damage mod would do) because the aiming mod was on there?

Hm, I am looking forward to this, in a away...

Maybe this time around - instead of the almighty (yet as we know also incredibly stupid and pointless) Reapers we have some "normal" powerful race controlling most parts of Andromeda? A bit like the Prothean-equivalent of this Galaxy, the overlords of many races and planetary-systems, controling them NOT to become spacefaring, but quite openly meddling in these people's affairs...and not in the best of ways ...

And then mankind and co. come around, and these powerful people will get mightly annoyed - and the conflict is set.

I also get kind of a "Deep Space Nine - Dominion"-Vibe thinking about this. In that series the Dominion was not met until later the Federation poked its nose into the Gamma Quadrant, only rumours and whipsers were heard at first, and I think it could be similar. First we just run around on planets etc, find stuff, make friends by fighting mostly "primitives" and beasts and whatnot ... but then more and more of this "real" threat of the new Galaxy unravels...
