The name Drack makes me think of a younger baby Krogan (older than Grunt though). Is there an age requirement to be a Warlord?
It would be amazing to witness a 'kid' (in Kro years) Krogan running around with a big azz hammer who serves as our super tank soldier. He's killing things with his rifle when he isn't busy smashing everything up with the hammer.
Cora can be our level headed designated human sidekick. Giving her the full blown Adept role works for me. But she should be able to use assault rifles and SMGs like Samara
We really don't need an Asari squaddie if there's to be a pure Adept. Their people aren't built for the front lines as Liara's mama will tell you.
'Synthy' should be a close quarters ninja infiltrator. Imagine a bad azz killer that can quickly cut distance to fire a shotgun. A machine can be programmed to be alert at all times, which should make them better for sneaking roles behind enemy lines such as infiltration. There are no natural lapses in focus unlike what you find with organics.
I like Ryder as a Vanguard. It fits the character's job in the story. Drack shouldn't be limited to a shotgun and rifle just because he's Krogan.
In this game squaddies should be able to equip any firearm category.
Hoping for a female Turian that's a mix of biotics and tech.
Last but not least a Drell Engineer that specializes in rigging the battlefield with traps and loves sniper rifles.
Let the remaining two squadmates be members of the new races.
My interpretation of the events in ME3 is even if you screwed the Krogans and destroyed syntheitcs they could still exist.
Genophage didn't directly kill any living Krogans. If Shep destroyed machines, we could still make new ones in the future. Iirc the reapers even threatened that the vicious cycle will stil continue under destroy option as future organics will inevitably create synthetics
Drack - Male - Krogan
Cora - Female - Human - Biotic
Synthetic? - 'Male'?
Guessing for fun:
-Drack may be something like a Krogan Warlord. We got a Battlemaster with Wrex, and a 'Beserker' (aka especially badass aggressive soldier) with Grunt, so I can see us having a more upper level Krogan that just doesn't have biotics. In terms of combat role, like James but with Krogan-ness.
-Cora has a biotic shield/bubble. This seems to imply a sort of Sentinel or Adept sort of role. It would be interesting if she's the 'Soldier' though, just with more hybridy abilities. Though it would also be interesting if we get a pure Adept (aka not Jack, who had a Combaty element) Human, showing us how biotics has evolved.
-I just enjoyed saying the Synthetic is Glyph. I want it to be so. But in any case, it sounds so far that it is more 'male'? So we had the sneaky EDI and the sniping Legion, how about something more aggressive? A Juggernaut that isn't a Juggernaut?
One big thing to note now is that if a Krogan and Synthetic are involved, then the writers didn't entirely run away from ME3. They either sidestepped it with a strategy that may or may not work, or they're tackling the matter head on and may surprise us with how. But in either case, having a Krogan and Synthetic is a statement that our ME3 decision did not necessarily erase either from having strong placements in a Mass Effect story, at least for one more game.
