As the title said, i'm curious to know what content u wanna see in a Deluxe Edition.

Being fair honest i was quite disapointed by the ME2 Deluxe Edition. And The Content of The Digital Deluxe Edition of ME3 is a bit unfair knowing that both printed and Digital Edition were at the same price. Should a digital Edition be a bit less expensive ? Anyway no regret, so here what i would like to see, my Top 3 priorities/dreams :

1) A Making Of, such as the one in Skyrim deluxe. Would love to see how the team is working or relaxing. What inspires them etc.

2) A true Art Book or a Full guide. Not a short version i only can compare as an apetizer. Those of u who have had The Art Book from skyrim or The Guide from The Last Metal Gear, or The One from Fallout, know what i'm talking about.

3) Something unseen before, like a bonus character. Something u can interact with, and have fun with. Or a different version of the Mako.

Aloha !

I want additional armors and casual outfits for the PC and squadmates that aren't just palette swaps.

Only additional in-game content would ever make me consider getting it.   'Stuff' is actually likely to make me want it less.   I need less stuff collecting dust, not more.

I'm not much of a fan of them.

They always seem to contain overpriced novelty theme items and/or DLC-style items priced at a premium that I think should be available as part of the game, and I don't care for either of those.

I suppose, if I had a preference, the deluxe edition would contain the overpriced novelty theme items, if only because I have no interest in them and therefore wouldn't ever take notice of the deluxe edition.

I want to see physical stuff. I've always viewed most exclusive in-game extras with varying degrees of irritation (or outright hatred, in the case of retailer specific content). I'd rather have all weapons, armies, skins, whathaveyou available in the base game, or to everyone as a free content pack, which isn't even unprecedented for EA.

I think the way to go is a nice looking deluxe case, and a nice item or two. A model, or a decent little hardcover art book. And of course, a soundtrack, though that seems pretty standard these days. I'm a sucker for cloth maps. They really had the right idea with the CE for DAI, although it ended up being chintzy garbage.

Definitely no added companions unless they come with something substantial like an expansion, and for the love of god don't lock one to the DX edition.

An apple with the picture of a Krogan engraved into the side. That would make it an instant pre-order for me.

Same, I'd want lovely, quality made things.  I can't tell you how much I covet the tarot cards from the DAI collector's edition.  Sadly (from what I've seen online) the rest of the set wasn't great, but those cards were beautiful and I'd buy them from the store in a heartbeat.

So I've got my fingers crossed that the ME:A set will be much better quality and really worth getting.

In-game extras often just get thrown into the GoTY edition anyway, but physical collectables are one time only.  Makes them much more special.

I'd love like a steelbook case, a little collection hobby of mine. For actual things in the game maybe just some small cosmetic/customization stuff, like armor or weapons.

I'm the same way. I'm not into physical collector's edition items that will occupy a shelf and generally be useless after a couple days of enjoyment. I think I'm more likely to buy the vanilla game and purchase the DLC packs individually or mod something in.

Although, some people have (possibly) played it smart and are auctioning off their CE items after they tire of them. Might break even on the whole purchase.

Thing is i have no problem with a company offering little pointless extras for more money. Just about every item we buy has a version/model that has more extras than the basic item.

What really gets my goat is the pre-order gift which is a con to get gamers to buy the game sight unseen. The irony is that if gamers stopped pre-ordering games this practice would stop.

3) Something unseen before, like a bonus character.

This is something I really disagree with; I shouldn't have to buy the deluxe package to be able to have something like another character. In-game content should be the same across both versions. If they are to add anything in-game it should superfluous or of little consequence like different clothes/armours.

I really liked the Art Book with ME3. I also think an orchestrated soundtrack of the Mass Effect series' score would be really nice, like Nintendo did with Skyward Sword. Things like figurines have never really bothered me much, and I don't have much space either - so that wouldn't be a selling point. Maybe some poster-art; for an added twist, have a variety of different posters so not everyone gets the same one. I love concept art and having something beautiful nicely framed really appeals to me.

I quite like the metal tins instead of the plastic cases, just makes it feel special for some reason.

I have always wanted an N7 Hoodie, but could never justify the money spent on it and importing it. So if something like that came with the deluxe edition, it would certainly consider it!

I very truthfully wouldn't mind just skins/outfits.  Make one be a raver, one a cowboy, one a business casual (like the jumpsuit in ME1 or rather the one Dr. Chakwas is wearing when you first wake up from being out), one a night out, of course all to be worn on the ship too.  So.

Soundtrack, art book (physical copy or digital), videos like final hours series. I pre-ordered Dark Souls III Apocalypse Edition (includes steel book and Soundtrack). I'm satisfied with these contents. I honestly don't want any special DLCs in deluxe edition. A high quality game itself earns all the price. Though an exquisite physical copy could be a nice addition to my game collection.

DON'T USE PAPER BOXES LIKE MASS EFFECT TRILOGY! AWFUL COLLECTION REALLY!

Nothing but I'm expecting a reasonable price for the Deluxe Edition, not as horrible as Battlefront.

have a humanity #1 pack for the cabin and main character

It contains a poster of TIM. A poster of Earth saying never forget Earth.  A shirt for the main character to wear saying humanity #1. A sign on the front door saying no aliens allowed. Cerberus armor for the main character

Steelbook with both m/f protagonist on each side

Day 1 DLC (or season pass bundled)

Cheaply made 30 page artbook

In game gear (exclusive armor [aka timed release] for pre-ordering at bestbuy/target/walmart/gamestop etc)

"Specter" packs

And a poster of m/f protagonist

For $89 to $119 sounds fair.

You're my favorite on these forums. A person who puts humanity above all, that loves being human, and isn't afraid to show it. TIM would be proud.

Season Pass on all DLC that will come out + some nice case. No bonus characters/Day 1 deluxe-exclusive DLC. If they make ot worth too much, we end up with Javik situation, a character that never should've been cut from the base game

And this is what really scares me.  With SW coming out, that'll set the price.  I'm scared of what their season pass will look like.
