That's why the purebloods should have "packages" to benefit reproduction and sexology.

Again, why? How is that al relevant with this:

 

The most advanced race in the Milky Way couldn't breed each other safely, even with the technology they achieved, producing pureblood with genetic disorders. Other than their science/technology, why should we brought them along?

 

Anyway, considering how many asari existed pre-Reaper Wars the condition isn't that widespread.

Also isn't their science/technology enough? what else do you need to bring them along? Putting aside the possibility that the voyage might start as a mean to escape the Reapers, so they (shouldn't) leave species behind.

They're already not just that. I understand the criticism on the asari (and for reason far more important lorewise then a lot of them being strippers in their early years), but saying that all they are is being strippers and LI, it's exaggerated, and false.

I think they could now actually SHOW us this mysterious and really "alien" side of Asari. I'm fine with sexy side and pole dancing side of Asari but why not try to show this species from different angle. But no, deleting Asari is basically showing ME community middle finger.

And yes, in trilogy there is more to Asari than fan service for sure, just sayin they could just show us more Asari culture.

Asari have the most advanced culture in whole galaxy. Saying that commandos and dancers is all that should be there is just wrong. Their culture should be very sophisticated.

 

I think with the scope of Andromeda we can expect some lore news about every species, so I think we should just wait.

I don't recall replying to your posts since our discussions in the Tevinter thread, and I made hundreds of post since then, or seen other posts you made in other threads without replying. I receive notifications of this threads, like others. I don't see why I shouldn't reply to (Some) your posts if you say something I might think it's worth to reply.

This mainly comes down to the creativity of the writers and how much effort EAware is willing to put into the more unique and lore-heavy parts of Mass Effect.

 

I hope to see more of this sure, but if past games are any indication, alien culture remained a rather shallow concept in mass effect.

(There were certainly no rich and unique examples of it, only tiny snippets at best)

 

Ironically, we probably know about Asari culture the most... And that's not very much.

This why I am worried. I am only one who want new races from Andromeda? We have at least 2 humans, Krogan, maybe asari quarian turian,already 6 how many companions we have 9 don't think so, so not much left for andromeda races.

There'll be new races in Andromeda. I doubt howewer that we'll get more then one, at best two, squadmates from the new ones. The number, I think, will increase in the following games though.

I said everything in between, didn't I?  Mass Effect is very good at tossing you in the middle of something and then letting you figure your way out of it.  Myself, I'm happy at being lost in the confusion about the species.  This is a game, not an alternate history class.

They are the most unnecessary addition to the mass effect universe, nothing but wish fulfillment and the game would be off if they were cut out. Trash race with a trash lore.

I personally wouldn't mind if none of the species besides human migrated to Andromeda. Not because I dislike any of them... well, perhaps I dislike Krogan, but I'm not particularly attached to any of the others either.

 

For obvious reasons this isn't going to happen. Irony would have it that, of the pathetically little we know of Andromeda, Krogan are actually most likely guaranteed given we've seen an Alpha version of them.

 

Really, I just think it would heighten the tension if humanity was on its own in a strange new galaxy. I also think BioWare could do a better overall job building interesting alien species if they focused on a blank slate.

Honestly, humans are a bit more of a fanservice race.   They are largely uninteresting and only included so that some players can "relate" better.

tbh humans are the only race worth having in the games at all, all the other "aliens" are just humans in rubber costumes, with maybe the exceptions of the krogan and rachni

Can we have Cro-Magnon humans in Andromeda? they are superior in strength and survival stuff.
