I had a dream about dragon age last night, and it made me start thinking of what may be next for the DA franchise. What will happen on DA:4?

One thing is certain: Solas and the Qun will have to be addressed and the inquistion will have a huge part in it.

1.Solas

Solas is looking to bring the elves back to it's full glory, and there's still some elven gods out there. He'll probably go after them, maybe absorb them like he did with Flemeth? Is she still alive?

We certainly know that Sola's judgement isn't the best (c'mon giving such a powerful object as the orb to a Magister?), will we be able to convince him to back down? If the inquisitor was friends with him, maybe the task will be easier.

I'd love to live in a world with elves and humans living peacefully!

2.Qun

The Qun is starting to become a pressing matter. Looks like everyone is trying to rebuild the world these days, isn't anyone satisfied?

Even though Iron Bull made us see a little more about the Qun's side, I think that there'll be no choice but destroy it all. Maybe we'll have to help 'elect' a new Qun leader? (maybe someone less radical?)

3.Tevinter

Dorian is starting a mini revolution from within. I really hope to see him again and to help him out. I really believe Tevinter could be reformed.

4.Divine Victoria

Since we were able to help choose Justinia's successor, I'm guessing the world states will be VERY different from each other. What will this mean for Thedas? Will the mage x templar matter still be raging on?

5.Inquisition

The inquisition will have a huge part on what's to come. But I don't want the protagonist to be an inquisition agent again.

6.Grey Wardens

What if Solas unwillingly start another darkspawn breakout? (we now know that darkspawn and elven gods are somehow related) Will the grey wardens be ready for it? I think we'll have to help rebuild this order too...

Well, looks like whoever the protagonist will be, we'll have to help build a new world order... Grey wardens are falling apart, Elves are starting to rise, The Qun is willing to kill and Tevinter is ready to change... Will all of these be addressed in the next game? Maybe we'll have TWO games to address all of them? Who'll be the protagonist?

My main idea is that, the next game will be Tevinter x Qun. with SOME Solas appearance. But I believe Solas will be addressed later, maybe in a dlc or the 5th game, I think it'll take a while for him to get ready for his revolution and the Qun is becoming a really pressing matter. The Protagonist would then be a Tevinter, probably allied with Dorian. Then a DLC will come out to help rebuild the Wardens, or it'll happen at the same time as the main quest.

I think that once the Qun and Warden matter is resolved, all 4 protagonists (Warden, Hawke, Inquisitor and the 4th protagonist) will get together to battle Solas.

Now as of recurring characters, of course I'd like to see Varric, Dorian and Iron Bull again. I think we'll see more of elves as well, Maybe Merrill will be back?

What do you think? Who would you like to see back for the next game? What'll be the next big problem? Do you think that after Solas and the Qun is addressed, we'll finally have a DA MMORPG?

I doubt we'll be able to elect a 'less radical' Qunari triumvirate - the Qun is all or nothing. They don't care for treaties, either. I imagine tensions will reach another boiling point in DA4 (or DA5...), as they did in Kirkwall but obviously on a much greater scale.

I'm excited to see Tevinter, though. So many possibilities. And I'd like to delve into the draconic origins of the qunari race and figure out what's up with the dwarves and the Titans.

I doubt we'll be able to make the Qun less radical, they expend too much time and effort ensuring enforcing radical orthodoxy.

I also doubt building a new world order is in the cards, the best I'm hoping for is for Dorian's faction to reduce corruption in Tevinter and empower the Publicanium (The elected house of the Imperial Senate) in relation to the Magisterium so they are more than bureaucrats.

I think the Tevinter setting is the perfect opportunity to expand dramatically on the lore of the Old Gods and delve into the mystery of the qunari's dragon blood and apparent connection to Tevinter.

Solas will probably be resolved in this game though.

Solas will probably be resolved in this game though.

Part of me thinks they'll hold off on resolving that til a later game.
