Female qunari, yes. Male ones, not so much.

I beg to differ....

I think is the best I ever performed myself:

Eh, I'm not sure Qunari are supposed to be generically attractive. Kinda takes away from the races to declare they all need to be high up the fuckabillity scale.

If I want a character that's looks generically attractive, I make a human. Qunari exist to be massive horned badasses. They need to be less attractive.

I wish Qunari would have not only had better hairstyles but access to tattoos, face and body paint, facial piercings, DA2 style eyes (as an option), a much wider range of armor, and so on. My Qunari rogue looked kind of dumb in skin tight leather pants and 20 slight variations of the same trench coat the whole game. :pinched:

Yeah, I'd agree with all this. I'm guessing the character creator wasn't designed with Qunari in mind, so it wasn't possible to get the DA2 designs in. Hopefully they will be better in the next game (if we get to play as one again...).

I do agree that qunari have become a bit too "human" in DAI.  They've lost a bit of their alien-ness.  But I think that comes more from Iron Bull talking like Zaeed on a bender more than the CC  ;)

I would have settled for just being able to have Sten's hair or the hair of the DA2 Qunari and the ability to toggle helmets off individually rather than all or none :(

Here's my current qunari: Tal-eb'saam aka Sam. I'm biased, of course, but I think he looks pretty good. :)

I think the key to a good female qunari face is to make it thin and curved. Also, the eyes are a large part of it. My female qunari had light blue eyes with pinkish edges. Light pink skin and bright blond hair. She looked good. But the body seemed too wide for her head. Nothing you can do about the body however.

The hair options for *all* the races are underwhelming (at best) IMO.

That's another reason why I have a human male Inquisitor. A few of the male hair styles are good.

My better looking character was a female qunari. It was my first play-through, and when my brother saw the default faces he joked about making a pretty qunari being impossible. I like challenges, so I spent the whole afternoon modelling her face just to prove him wrong xD

I really, really liked the result: she was beautiful and nowhere near delicate. I didn't have the "head too small to the body" problem, either, and although I DID miss better hair options it didn't screw up everything. Sadly I don't have any prints... Still trying to figure out how I take them on PS3.

I feel like any race/gender combination could be made beautiful given the right amount of time working on it, but I am too lazy to test this theory.

About the hair.... Choosing the hair first and then modelling the face to fit it usually works for me (or just giving up and going bald, in a particularly hard case).

After reading this topic yesterday evening I tried my hand at creating a Qunari and decided mine suck worst then my male humans. Doesn't matter though I'm not a fan of those horn heads.

I'm much better creating Elves, female Dwarfs and fairly good creating female humans.

I have troubles in creating a good looking male Human to fit Dorian's taste and I want him to be blond. This is my last attempt:

By chance, her eye colour matched the deathroot vitaar perfectly:

And she used it for 95% of the game, because it makes her look badass:

What? Making an attractive qunari dude is easy. Making an attractive anything is easy, EXCEPT A MALE ELF. Please redirect me to your actually good looking male elves. Even all the male elves in the game look terrifying. Which is fine if that's what they were going for.

You used a hairmod, and I assume you have some other mods up your arsenal? That doesn't count!

The face is nice though.

Took me a while fiddling around in the CC, but I managed to create a male and female who look like the Qunari equivalents of Liara and Khal Drogo before, so good looking characters can be done.

Usually takes me far longer than the other races though, roughly around 40 minutes for the Qunari compared to the usual 15-20 it takes for Elves, Dwarves and Human characters. And the Black Emporium definitely helped to fix stuff later, once I saw them in game.

I've never played as a Qunari yet but I'm definitely gonna try it out. A female one since I'm female myself. Some of the pics here are pretty awesome. It's worth trying at least xD

Some better hair would make all the difference. Tweaking can get the face to look pretty dang good whatever your tastes are, but it's always just shy of looking great. Need some long hair with bangs. I think mine looks pretty good, it's just missing that last piece...ie good hair.

That's really good. But I now just realized that my elfs look dopey and odd because I play in the lowest graphical settings.

One day I'll create a handsome elf in HD.

I fooled around again yesterday afternoon and made a decent looking Qunari female without horns and now I'm playing my 5th game..I thought once I put DA:I in my storage rack  it would stay there for awhile.

How'd you get the width on the face right? That's something I struggle with a lot re: elves.
