I'd probably be a Supervillain rather than a Superhero. I'd love to make people's heads explode, but that would be messy. I think it would be wonderful to be able to persuade people to do anything. I'm also attracted to the power of entropy: wave my hand, and machines rust; electronics short-circuit; ice melts; fire fizzles. Sucking the life out of an enemy to boost my own power also has its appeal. So difficult to choose!
My costume would involve a black corset shaped like overlapping pieces of chitin with bloody scarlet between each piece; a frothy, translucent black skirt; shiny pointed black boots and long black gloves.
Just call me Wither.
Love it! I think I might need to try to draw this villainess at some point.
Our costume ideas are so similar.
You think so, too? I've just always been more drawn to calm, methodical displays of control.
Same here. Magneto is a bit of a favorite of mine, especially on those occasions when he's depicted as particularly controlled and eloquent.
I just love wizard types.
There's also a certain allure to having influence over things that are hidden and difficult to struggle against.
Plus, mind control is pretty much the most intimate power ever, especially if you consider "the mind" to include both conscious and unconscious processes. Having access to things like emotions can have pretty wild applications. I mean, I could tell someone to be happy and instantly cause them to receive spikes of serotonin and dopamine in the brains. It would certainly come in handy when I need people to stop panicking after they realize that I can control their minds.
Yeah, I could have probably worded that to sound just a little less menacing...Well, if it helps, know that I'll generally opt for subduing over crushing. However, that doesn't necessarily preclude subduing combined with the threat of crushing. And...I just described what my villainous monologue would consist of, didn't I?
Definitely. It's kind of strange that I like playing rogues best in DA, because in most other things I prefer spellcasters, telekinetics, and empaths.
So basically, you'd control the world in a day, and just instruct people to be happy about it.
Yes, you're definitely on the villain team.
But I rather like the RDF's resident supervillain team. They all sound frightening and remarkably compelling at the same time.
