So I looked at Fire Emblem Fates, and I have to reiterate that Dragon Age should not be like that.
With Dragon Age I feel like I am experiencing an adventure, almost living it through my character. Seeing Fire Emblem's style, it looks like a video game. Dragon Age shouldn't feel like you're playing a game-y game.

My inclination is to say no to this, but the last time one of my favorite publishers released an out of character tactics game, it ended up being one of the best in the series. So what the hell do I know. My guess is this would be a mobile platform game, in which case it won't reach me. For something at about the scale and price range of "Child of Light" I might be able to talk myself into this.

how about RTwP ala Dragon Age Origins? The only gripes i have with TB is that you have very limited choice to make in a turn. Even you have a plethora of available options: moves, spells, skills, etc.

No, I would not WANT to play it.
But, if it's one of those things where there is a plot and story, and it's essential to the lore, then I might just break down and play it, but I have no interest in such things on my own. I suppose that doesn't matter though, does it? They would get the money either way, regardless of whether it was a purchase grudgingly done on my part. -_-

Yes yes yes for the love of god yes! A Dragon Age game with tactical combat like Fire Emblem or XCom would blend so well together. This needs to happen! Anyone who thinks this wouldn't work has probably never played a Tactical Rpg. Otherwise you'd know how much potential there would be in something like this.
If you don't want this game to be made, please do us TRpgs fans a favor and shut your face. You'll still have your DA4, but for the love of god you should still support this. Let Bioware branch out with different genres. This could be something truly awesome. It's obvious that Mark Darrah's is interested in doing this, so let him.

Only if it includes race selection. If I have to play another human noble, the answer is no.

It better include playable Mabari, and Golem classes also; Sylvan, Werewolf, and Awakened classes are acceptable as well. ![]()

Yeah man imagine the potential this game would have when it comes to classes. Marbaris, Elves, Werewolves, Dwarves, Qunari, Golems, etc.
According to the twitter poll, 77% of people who voted are interested in this.

That makes no sense whatesover. A video game is a video game.

Personally, I think Tactics alone could be way worse than Inquisition that does have minimal tactics.

Frack yes to this. It should be playable on PC, bonus points for great graphics and making it more tactical than FFVII Remake!

But one feels like you're playing a video game (player phase, enemy phase), and the other feels like you're playing out an adventure in real time.

Yes, we can have a Dragon Age tactics game until DA4 appears.
With character creation for sure.
All races, all classes and a lot of abilities and specializations.

That sounds pretty fun provided it had a good story.

How about a sports game? I'd play the hell out of Major League Fadeball. Probably cheer for the Griffons!
I stand by my idea for a Dragon Age cart racer.

Now this has just gone off the rails. I assume they're joking, but both of these things happened to my previously favorite RGP franchise:
I never rule anything out anymore.

Personally, I'm hoping we'll one day see a Telltale-style DA spin-off.
... and a Nug-based platformer a la Ori & the Blind Forest. ![]()
(maybe with a wee bit less RAGEDESTROYALLTHETHINGS difficulty...
