I preordered Mass Effect 2 at gamestop and got Terminus Assault Armor and The M-490 Blackstorm Projector DLC. I followed the directions on the card that came with my game. When I go to the personal terminal ingame to read the message detailing how to obtain my preorder item, there is nothing.

I also downloaded the DLC for the Blood Dragon Armor. The card in my Dragon Age box says I should be able to find it in my inventory. I have no idea how to open my inventory. I have read that it is the tab key but that does nothing.

My main menu still says "New Content Available" suggesting perhaps the installation of the DLC was to the wrong directory. (this is pretty much a blind guess) I am running Windows 7 64 bit.

You're not listening to the in-game instructions.  To equip armor, go to your private quarters on the ship.  Click on the armor locker.  Select your armor.

I thought I did this. I may have been looking at the Customize Armor terminal though. I will check again. Thank you.

Edit: just noticed this is the same thing as the armor locker

I re-downloaded the preorder content and it showed up in the locker. Seems my downloads didn't quite work right. Gonna redownload the rest of the DLC and see if it works.

Yep. Redownloaded all the DLC and everything works now. No idea why the first install didn't work.

 Hi,
I have downloaded both Overlord and Shadow Broker. They both downloded and appeared to have installed correctly.
However when I go to the Online Cerebyss network I cannot find them at al!.

I originally downloaded ME2 to my D: Drive so am wondering if the DLC content is defaulted to install into C: DRIVE only?

This is really frustrating as I have paid for this and am not getting anywhere!

Does anyone else have the same problem or a solution?

Hi, I have the same problem. I've installed shadow broker, but can't seem to find it or start it?

Did you talk to Liara and tell her " I hear your looking for the shadow broker" and offer to help her?

mine solved it'self when i went back to the normandy, and read mail it then loaded all the info from the downloads. :-)
