I was wondering, is there any bonus powers that the adept can get that are effective against shields?
 
Because that is the only type of defense my adept can't bypass, and the only other way I see to deal with them is by having either Garrus or Miranda in my team for overload, but I really would rather use somebod else...

Any suggestions?

That's why you play a sentinel =D



But I think some weapons can take down shields pretty fast.
