hi, 

 

i cannot find the item for Heraldry from a Herald quest, the Montilyet Family Crest... i have searched all the shops multiple times, is there a quest i have to complete before it shows up or a console command so that i can complete this quest?

1 Complete the war table operation Find the Old Montilyet Family Crest.

2 Once the operation is complete, go to the Summer Bazaar in Val Royeaux and purchase the Montilyet Family Crest from the merchant Barnabus. The item is found in the "Others" category and costs nothing.

3 Return to Josephine in Skyhold.

yeah i did the war table operation, then i got the quest to find the Crest at one of the shops in Val Royeaux and i have gone to Barnabus multiple times and nothing... could i have gotten it and sold it by accident?

 

can i continue my romance with Josephine without doing this quest?

I don't think it's possible to sell it.

I think you need the crest to start her last personal crest.

yeah i didnt think i could sell it, and i have read threads saying its from him but when i go.... nothing.

OK, there happened to be a walk through on YouTube. The crest should be listed under Buy: Other instead of with Barnabus' other stuff. The relevant bits are at 2:20.
