Just came from my Wii U gold match using a Drell Adept and I think I have a lot more fun with really fast kits. It got me thinking if these kits can reinvigorate my interest as many times, I'm left half asleep mid-match. So, I'm wondering just what kits would produce the fastest walking and running speed without adrenaline consumables.
I'm guessing any Drell would accomplish this, but are there anymore?
I think it was a 4 way tie between the aiu, shadow, drell adept & fury... there was a video posted a few months ago showing them doing laps around Rio while they were timed.
now, if were are talking slowest... I have seen a volus adept sporting a level 1 spitfire with a level 1 javelin for a back-up..I think it took them 1 entire match to circle around reactor just once.
I think Geth With Hunter Mode specced into speed actually move slightly faster (or just maintain speed better)
The Shadow also has a 20% Speed bonus when specced that way
I think someone actually tried to see who can get around Rio the fastest

IIRC... you have to break up "footspeed" a bit to get a winner.
Drell win in acceleration, which can matter more than top speed in some playstyles.
(This is the very IIRC part) the Shadow wins after decloaking momentarily topping out highest.

Wow. Very valuable inputs here! Good call also on the Fury. I should give that a spin and see what I think. I don't recall the Shadow being fast, but that is probably just me and my hazy memory. AIU is fast but it's just way too crazy. lol
I also remembered geth hunter mode giving some speed boost. One time I put the adrenaline mod with geth hunter and it was funny to see. I'll go check out the video.

I'd say AIU and Drell when it comes down to it fully specced for speed. Though Batarians aren't slouches either.

I'm pretty sure the N7 Shadow wins, but only for a few seconds after shadow strike.
Not sure where she ranks overall, but the Cabal gets a 25% speed boost with Biotic Focus, and is no slouch to begin with. And she can Poison Strike and/or teleport, so will win many in-game races.
That video makes me want to cry, as my omnibutton only works if I tap it most of the time, so not much running for me. 
I think my bae shadow might be the fastest,I should use drell more often, running around calling enemies slow is fun. This whole thread reminds me of this:

The race with the highest acceleration, before bonuses, are Drell. By far.
With bonuses taken into account, the kit with the highest top speed should be the shadow after he decloaks, of she took the right evolutions, but of course she can't keep that up all the time.
If you're asking, in general, which is the kit with the highest mobility in the game, then it's no doubt the DrellGod. Best acceleration possible, second highest speed around*, BC. Hard to beat that...

Highest mobility is Cabal, Fury/Slayer, Shadow and DrellGod Vanguard. But Cabal can cut entire buildings, so mobility wise - NR.1 Shadow can do it too, but she needs a target.
Clearly OT but any Krogan with adrenaline mods + rage is the fastest lizard in the galaxy. I recall having 15 seconds to extract on Rio with the Kroldier, had adrenaline booster II equipped, triggered Rage, and made it to the LZ from the conex boxes with five seconds to spare.
I don't think Rage adds speed. I think it's just a visual effect that makes you think you're going faster. Similar how you can activate Adrenaline Rush on Human Soldier and it appears you're running faster.

I often use an Adrenaline Mod on my Batarians, and they freaking FLY. Great for beating Drell to the ammo boxes to get all the grenades.
