Umm...Hi. If anyone's noticed from my display picture, I've gotten into posing and editing 3D models (to an extent) and have been trying to learn more.
The application I'm currently using is XNAlara XPS 11 and models extracted by various different people. So far, I've been able to edit outfit colors, skin, and textures on their TGA files and done posing. Right now, I'm trying to understand how an imported object from XPS (Wavefront) can be manipulated in Blender. I've, umm, gotten the basics of that atm, but I kind of need help with others.
1. How can I edit the mesh of an existing model? (Let's say, I want to edit a male Shepard that I already posed in XPS.)
2. How can I erase bits of that model, if I've made certain bits of it optional to view? (Let's say I've only left the head visible, but want to remove the bit with the collar bone or give a new hairstyle so i need to remove the current one if it's not possible to make optional.)
3. How can I create entirely new outfits and props to these models as opposed to downloading and importing existing ones? (I've seen people give Shepard custom-made hoodies or tank tops and such.)
Also, another thing. I'm a console player, so I can't extract my own Shepard or armor edit (Maybe if I get the game on my PC, but it's not updated enough to process games like ME). I was wondering if I could just give someone here my Shepards' create codes and have them give me the mesh files for XPS?
