If you have a maxed manifest, do you remember what goals you had as you were going? What, if any, goals do you keep in the back of your mind now?

 

If you don't have a maxed manifest, where are you at, and what in-game goals do you have at the moment?

For myself I'm maxed. I remember my goals being something along the lines of...

 

Try Not To Die So Much

Max Uncommons

Max All Characters

Stop Sucking At Platinum

Max Rares

Go for Banners I Like

Go for all the Banners. (BotB basically)

Get Over Not Believing How Long It's Going To Take To Max My URs

Eventually Actually Max Them

 

Only goal I have now is to still stop sucking at Platinum. (I think i degenerated somehow)

With one maxed manifest already, I guess I might do it again. First one took me a perceived BSN record of 1690 hours, but it's fair to say I wasn't trying too hard - I was more concerned with getting re-spec cards in VPs than buying 99k packs, and had played a large amount of Bronze and Silver before daring to try Gold.

 

This time around my goals are as follows - 

 

1. Max my Claymore (currently at level 2)

2. That is all (although I'd quite like another Quarian, as I only have one after 100 hours.)

I don't remember any specific goals....cuz I was having so much fun just playing  ..but I do remember thinking...how can I score as much as the person in 1st place? How are they doing that?   ...... that is kinda telling you something about me..from back then

 

Ironically, now that I am able to score that much..I find I really don't like having to do so.

Yeah. At first it's kinda cool to drop 250k+, but then it's gets tedious, so I just go out with a Volus to help those Clanless PUGS survive. Kssshk.

Getting my hurricane to X (not sure why because i rarely use that gun)

 

Everything else didn't matter because it came naturally...

Currently my goal is to max my manifest. After that, soloing plat legit. And no Biovar, soloing w10 after everyone leaves and extracting doesn´t count as a solo.

Before ME:A drops, I'd like to get 5 Commando, & 20 Machinist challenges done, +150,000k in challenge points. Get 500 tech explosions in one solo (the first one i tried had 350 tech explosions, was on Geth/G/Glacier)

For the last 3 years or so, I've had two goals in this game: have fun, and become a better player.

I think I've reached them both, to be honest

As far as manifest goes, I remember itching to get my Javelin 1. After that was done, I pretty much stopped caring about it.
