So you mean human male same sex LI only then? Human male opposite sex LI were just as atrocious in DAI. Josephine? Cassandra? Really? I tried to romance Sera, but I was rejected... Heck, part of the reason I want my Hero of Ferelden to return is so I can romance Leliana again because she's that awesome! Really though, love interests were pretty terrible in DAI. It was really the first BioWare game where I just didn't like it at all.

As an apology for the absolutely terrible LI in DAI, I'm hoping BioWare gives us double of this in MEA.

If she wrote Kaidan then I'm 100% onboard for her writing a male LI.  Kaidan is freaking awesome, he didn't follow me around like some baby chick because he had his own life, stood up to me and disagreed with my choices, didn't need me to mop up his mess or hug away his freaking antsy issues, and no wannabe badass.  Just a guy who wants steak and beer and burn off calories between the sheets.

Would have happily taken Cass off your hands, but she wasn't interested in my Inquizy's vajayjay.

That ass good enough to make gay guys switch teams.

It was confirmed in the Twitter thread a while ago that she's writing for MEA. It was pretty clear she's writing at least one character, but it wasn't confirmed if it's an LI.

Tweet here: http://twitter.com/t...022831546073089

Whatever she's doing I'm exited she's in! Kaidan in ME3 was even better than in 1.

Oh wow, that's awesome!

All the gay characters have been filled with angst, Dorian and Cortez while all the lesbian options have been very happy and fluffy like with Sera and Samantha. I smell a conspiracy, I think Bioware is trying to change the definition of gay to mean sad instead.

Was Cortez romance angsty? Well... Outside the obvious trying to get over the dead hubby thing. I never played it so I wouldn't know.

Loool, no.

I LOVED Kaidan in ME1. He was pretty much perfect to me. But he got turned into a depressed mess in ME3 who was not supportive at all. Totally wrapped up in his own insecurities. Such a disappointment. And when you turned him down before,  in ME3 he'll hit on you anyway and try to emotionally blackmail you into a relationship. WTF.

Kaidan in ME3 made me wish I could have dumped him for Liara at the end...

I need Alistair in space. Badly. Where are the sweet supportive CHEERFUL male love interests for straight women? Dorian was so much fun but... *sigh*

He wasn't any more depressed than what you'd expect considering the galaxy is ending? And he's never insecure, waaat

I actually romanced her, but her content is not as deep as Miranda and Morrigan's IMO.

Lets make a deal. You can have Cass as long as I get to have Sera. I couldn't stand Cass at all and her recital of poetry made me cringe every second... Josephine wasn't any better... I really hated my LI options in DAI...

As a super PRO elf I would gladly trade Sera for Cass. I really didn't like Josie that much too Disney for me.

It's agreed. I'll give you my super, secret, awesome book of poems to seduce Cass. You'll give me freshly baked chocolate chip cookies to entice Sera. Everybody wins. Long live awesome romance.

Whoever wrote Garrus in ME2 should just write all the romances.

Because if it's mostly just going to be 2-3 conversations before a sex scene, we'll at least get some cheesy lines.

That's a first, wanting to trade Sera for Cass, alot of people couldn't stand Sera. Eh, I found her a mix bag tbh. She made me chuckle on a few occasions and the romance had some sweet/fluffy moments but she also really irritated me alot of the time. Needed a shut-up Sera interrupt, I was an elf, it was problematic. :P

Well, at least no gay character have to end up: being cheated on, die no matter what, and having to make the LI impregnate another woman just to stay both alive. I think is mostly a cospiracy against male LIs in general, with particular rage towards straight female characters.

On Topic, I wasn't much into Kaidan. I romance him in ME1 because he was the only option for my straight female character, and than I leave him in ME2. I always found him boring at best. (not as much as Jacob, but still...) And I think his character really is flat if he is not in a romance (romance that I find quite cliche and very little interesting.). In my last run in ME3 I almost forgot that I had him in the team.

Oh, you mean it's better to play 2 whole games without any gay LI? Developers making excuses for why there are lesbian relationships, then when it finally happens, one of the LI is basically a copy and paste with scenes cutting out and avoid all intimate actions while another option is an NPC with angst about a dead husband the entire time? I should be so appreciated to have to play 2 games without any relationship just to get 2 inferior versions in the last game.

Kaidan is a nice guy, and that's his personality, not everyone needs to have daddy issue like 3/4 of the companions to be interesting. Some people just want a relationship to be fluffy and romantic like with Cullen, Kaidan, or Alistair.

And beans, or maybe some potently spiced cookies. Sera loves to release those silent deadly ones. You two can fart the night away.

Unfortunately, her butt cheeks aren't as thick as Miranda's so you won't get that long drawn out flabby fart sound.

I love Sera's character. She's a troublemaker, a prankster, completely unpredictable. Cass has a stick up her bum and is actually an awkward dork on the inside. I just wasn't into her character at all. I had a lot more fun messing around with Sera, who is kind of nutty, in a good way. Plus, Sera had a talent for pissing off the other companions I didn't like, so that was a plus. I don't know why BioWare decided she had to be a lesbian instead of bisexual. A missed opportunity.

That's okay. Miranda gave my Shepard plenty of cushion for the next three Mass Effect games. Sera will suffice.

Sound like a lot of people want Sera to be the straight instead of Cassandra. I love Cassandra, and if she had been gay, then I'd have no LI in DAI. :X She's my canon romance, but let's make a compromise, make Josephine the lesbian option and Sera the bi option. Not like I can have Cullen anyway.

I do like her a lot but Cass has just been my favorite female character Bioware has ever made imo
But Sera has moments like this that make me love her

I can't speak for anyone else, but heck yeah I'd prefer Sera to be straight and Cassandra to be lesbian. I like your line of thinking though. Josephine really comes across more of a lesbian option than a bisexual option anyways. I really think Sera's personality fits quite well with being bisexual.

Are you listening BioWare??? Make it so!!! Captain Picard demands it!!!!

I just love how unique Sera's character is. I've never experienced a companion quite like her in a BioWare game before. She keeps things interesting and I never know what she might say next. I give props to whoever wrote her as well as the voice actress' performance.

Physically for me Cass just...

a hot KISA type. Along with her no-nonsense pragmatic attitude to situations, dat hot temper, she's passionate about what she believes in be it her faith or her profession and her uber cute romantic gooey center underneath all that brassiness. Ugh, yes, my Inquisy's pined after her, alot.

I like Sera, I do, she provided many lols on the journey but I'd drop her for Cass in a heartbeat, if I was given the choice.

It would have been cool if it was like this though:

Straight: Cassandra, Iron Bull

Bi: Cullen, Sera

Gay: Blackwall, Josephine

Josephine is the best romance Bioware has made to date.
