So Bioware, was your family killed by SD TVs or something?

I am enjoying the game (about as much as I can) but is this a sign showing how you plan on treating your customers in the future? Considering how much I've enjoyed your past games, this is really disappointing.

do you blame other companies for not making games that are compatible with Windows 95?

The text is small, but oddly it's getting easier for me to read. Is this a good thing or a bad thing...?
Depends, if your brain is simply filling in the blanks its fine but if you look at something else and your eyes hurt you might want to stop.

Thankfully I play on an HDTV (and a 42" one, so the text is readable), but I did notice that text is a bit smaller in ME2 than it was in ME1. That's unfortunate that it's so hard to read on an SDTV.

in this day and age... who doesn't have some sort of HDTV/or widescreen computer monitor? HDTV's are dirt cheap.

That is a horrible analogy. Operating system does not equal a certain screen resolution, idiot.

Dragon's Age is also pretty bad, but the text is a bit bigger. Still I have to read all the codex entries on my laptop, it's too much eyestrain to try and read them in game, which negatively impacts on the experience. At least a lot of Codex entries in Mass2 have audio.
Most of us don't own 52" HD TV's, so why is there no option to change the font size in game?

I have an HDTV, however it only has one set of HD plugs and they are taken by my DVR. Granted, even when I put my 360 on HD I still couldn't read the text. It's much smaller than ME1, and it seems less care was put into making sure it's readable against busy backgrounds. When there is text over Miranda's white outfit, for example, I have to guess and hope I don't say something wrong.
Yeah, I noticed this as well in a number of dialogues (only a couple hours into the game), where the text gets blurred out by various background colors to the point where it is unreadable at any distance.

Not really actually, I bought my xbox 360 back in 2005 when it came out and back then I had way more money than I have now. A year and a half ago I had my house get foreclosed and the last financial thought I'm having is an HDTV. I dont have even $200 to spare right now.Crimson-Engage wrote...
HD here and the text is fine. OP, stop living in the stone age. HDTV's aren't that expensive. If you can afford a current gen console i'm sure you can afford a nice 26" HDTV for the same price.
