Here's my problem.

I only have the release game. And now I can (could) buy all of the horsearmor DLC plus the rumor is there are some actual quests and missions included.

But I hated endless trashmob respawns in DA:I.

Did they change it so the respawn rate isn't horrible any more or is there a mod that stops the annoying filler?

I mean I really can't bring myself to grind through hordes of repetitive mobs again. One time was enough I barely went through it. If I wanted to grind I'd go play some MMO grinder.

So, should I buy or better use the cash into something without godlike mobs that revive endlessly?

Tomb Raider 2 and XCom2 come in mind as an alternative...

Buy Trespasser, it's the real ending to the game and the best piece of content Bioware has produced. I don't believe there are respawns in it, but then I never really noticed that in the base game so I could be mistaken. It's much more plot based, and will be important for DA4.

The other two (Hakkon, Descent) are really more of the same base game. I enjoyed them both, but it sounds like you wouldn't, unless you really care about finding out some more lore details.

(You should also buy XCOM 2, it's amazing. )

Uhh, it doesn't sound like you liked the game enough to spend your money on its DLC...if you liked the story and want a conclusion then get Trespasser but if you don't care that much just get another game.

Just get XCOM 2, it's an entire game vs just a dlc for maybe an hour or 2.

Xcom 2 was fine, but if I were you I would buy the Trespasser DLC. You will need like at least 2 weeks to recover from the very touching ending ;) ! Perhaps Xcom 2 will get cheaper by then.

In my opinion the DLCs improved the game a hell of a lot. Especially Trespasser. Your mob problem won't change, however.

I didn't like the base game but I loved Trespasser. If you have any hope or inclination that you might play the next DA at all, then you need Trespasser. Like others have said it's the real ending to the game and sets up the next one. I watched let's plays of the other 2 (and from that decided not to buy them) and JoH was just an extra zone while Descent seemed like it had even MORE combat than the vanilla game. Neither seemed relevant to the vanilla game or the next game.

u can buy trespasser because it has the 'real ending'

but if u r intending to get all, just buy the GOTY edition. it is cheaper. EA is that stupid, punishing players who have stick with them long.

Thank you all for sharing thoughts.

Have to say I'm actually not convinced, sure, I'd love to know what happens past DA:I finale where cpt. Janeway gets... Erm... Well...

But I really really can't do the grinding through the whole game from scratch again. Really. :(

Why would you need to play the entire game again just to play the final story DLC?

Trespasser is definitely worth it.

Then again, if it's that or XCOM2...

...then it's the choice of a God damn century. Vigilo Confido.

XCOM2 costs that little?
