Imagine punching somebody so hard that they turned into a door. Then you found out that's where ALL doors come from, and you got initiated into a murder club that makes doors. The stronger you punch, the better the door. So there are like super strong murderers who punch people into Venetian doors and ****.
And then I wake up.

I've had dreams where my dogs were stabbed and sliced up by robbers. I was helpless and could only watch them suffer. I think I woke up crying from that one.

1. Falling; haven't had the dream since leaving the aforementioned house.
2. Climbing endless staircases indoors and especially outdoors, to doors that didn't make any sense (none of it made sense), and the outdoor stairs never had walls or rails.
3. Being chased by something unseen through a very large house with many rooms and halls, often accompanied by my brothers and sisters.
I call them mild because they weren't the sort to wake me up with silent screams, like the ones I had when I was little. I was always creeped out though.
Interestingly, I've also had creepy dreams in modern times by sleeping on my arm in such a way as to cut off circulation. Now I know to wake myself up in mid-dream and turn over.

You know, when I was a kid I found that I could summon up the weirdest tripped-out dreams ever by doing exactly that. Once I dreamed that I was at the bottom of an Olympic-sized swimming pool, just floating around and looking up towards the surface, and the water was all beautiful and sparkly with sunlight filtering through. I also felt a vague warm fuzziness, and it was one of the most pleasant sensations I've ever had in life. Of course, just like a kid, I wanted to experience more new and exciting adventures like those, so I regularly and deliberately slept on my arm from then on to make sure that the dreams would come back. XD Too bad my mom found out and put a stop to it, however.

That... is... so awesome. Currently reading Stephen King's Dark Tower series, don't really read Stephen King, but I'm enjoying it, and this just reminded me of that series... doors and such. You have the beginning of an interesting psycho short story, people who are like serial killers who kill people in order to open doorways to who knows where. Could be a mystery, crazy, Cthulhu story or something.
On topic, I can't really remember my nightmares very much. Though I do remember that the earliest dream that I can recall was a nightmare where I am on a flat chunk of rock, like an island floating in the air, but it's like underground or something, and there are demons all around the perimeter and I'm in the center just spinning around looking at them all. Was like hell or whatever my very young mind at the time thought of hell. Another dream when I was a kid was my brother shooting my face with a shotgun, then I went to the bathroom and saw many holes in my head that I could see through.
Can't remember any recent dreams, other than ones that seem like normal life, but then I realize I'm dreaming and just mess around.

I was running down a tunnel or sewer escaping a wall of water and I say a door on the side so I turned and went in. But I didn't close it quick enough and the door bashed open hitting me. I woke up coughing and holding my chest like someone hit it with a bat.

so yes, i had a dream where i woke up from a dream, and was then pulled by something. i woke up almost right away, but i still felt the sensation of being dragged for a split second.
more recently, i dreamed that the walls were covered with large spiders. now, i'm not arachnophobic (i actually think spiders are AWESOME), but these spiders FLEW. as in, HAD FREAKING WINGS. what the hell, man?!

But I decided It be better to just go out side so i did. Then out of no ware my dad shows up running towards the car and said " No matter what" Then it like ended.. But I woke up like 3 times daring this dream and every time I went back to sleep it started again...

PS: My dreams are all in color and have sound. I heard this is not very common. Is this true?

Not at all. I can't remember a single dream without color, although I don't always remember sound.

I get covered in scratches from the monsters claws, but eventually trick the monster into falling back into the paper, erasing the last line my brother drew.
My brother then goes to redo his last line and I wake up.

Usually I had three types:
1. This was the most common type of dream I had. It always involved me running away from something that was chasing me(the pursuer was different from dream to dream, mostly monsters though) and at the last moment I would get caught or I would reach safety and the dream would end. Sometimes I've had a a variation on this type where I would be crossing train tracks from one platform to another and get stuck trying to climb up.
2. This one usually involved my Mother abandoning me and throughout the dream I would be looking for her in vain. Another version of this dream I've had is one /or both my parents dying. In both cases I was left alone and it felt really horrible.
3.This one would most often be a strange nightmare although sometimes it can be a dream. Sometimes(rarely) I would have a dream or nightmare whihc seems so real that I would ocnfuse it with reality.I think it's called a lucid dream.
For example, when my brother still lived with my parents and we shared a room, he had a digital alarm clock and one night I had one of these lucid dreams. I dreamed that a vampire was stalking outside our bedroom window and he looked inside and saw me. He opened his mouth and just as he was about to hiss or say something, the alarm went off and he started beeping. It just seemed so real to me, I was paralyzed with fear in my bed. Mind you, I was terrified of vampire, ghosts and any monster you can name but I love vampires now
