Warning: Doesn't take rejection well.
That's why I have my buddy, predator, to do the heavy lifting in case the poop hits the fan:

Warning: Doesn't take rejection well.
Such a heartwarming moment. It just wanted a kiss.
I'm still holding out on that virtual race that was mentioned in the Cerberus Daily News in ME2. Think of entering the geth collective in ME3 but meeting the whole 'species'.
I've always been more of a necromorph kind of guy myself. Imagine getting freaky with this...

Pity that show was cancelled, it had some good laughs.

Inspired by you, I went back and watched it all last year.
Personally think they need to keep new advanced races to a minimum. I'd be happy enough if Remnant were the only one colonists come up against and others we meet are at varied levels of primitive stage of development. The likes of the thorian and Rachni were interested and i'd hope they can add some similar unique alien alien lifeforms for us to come into conflict with.

I do like the Thorian and Rachni, it's very interesting, I'm for it.
But it would be very weird to have only those kind of aliens when we have a tone of advanced civilisations on the MW. I mean, Andromeda can logically have the same amount of advanced civilisations and even more because the Adromeda is far bigger ...
Now, yes, how to deal with too many aliens all around, those from the MW, and those from Andromeda... I'm not sure, I'm curious to see what they will do for the story.

See, I'm worth listening to, sometimes.
Can we have blonde aliens?
I love Roger. ![]()

Well we'll likely only be exploring only a portion of andromeda in this game, so there's plenty of room. Also if there isn't a relay network there's unlikely to be the ease of expansion for native races. There's the remnant as an x factor that maybe subjugating natives species.
Personally i'll find it very odd if we are able to colonise an area with an existing presence of advanced races already there.

You have a point, it's odd I agree. Or maybe it will cause serious problems on the story (like the first contact war). But having an empty galaxy is also very odd to me.
And even if we find species like Rachnis or Thorian, what right do we have to drive them out of their planets (I hope it won't be an option really) or to even etablish a colony here ?
Or do we have to find only 100% empty planets to create a colony... ? Also weird.
I wish we had more informations about the game already
I can't figure how the exploration of Andromeda will be....
I think we should have male looking asari xD

Just because a species is non-humanoid/animalistic in appearance doesn't mean that said species is primitive.
*incoming rant*
Sure the Rachni don't posses little things like clothing, but since when is that a staple of an advanced society? All the Rachni we see in ME 1 & 3 have woken up naked in a lab and have had to literally start over from square one. I'm sure some skivvies would be the last thing on the Queen's mind as she is escaping Noveria. Plus, if your natural protections allowed you to walk around on a wide range of extreme environments, environments that would kill an unprotected Krogan in a matter of seconds, then why would your species have ever bothered with that element of society?
We know that the Rachni are capable enough to reverse engineer FTL ship drives and assemble their own fleet of interstellar spacecraft, and we know that the Rachni are quite adept at working extremely complex technology, such as the Crucible. You don't see a species like the Krogan doing things like that. Just because they look like ants, don't wear clothes and prefer to fight in melee combat doesn't mean that they are a primitive alien species.
/rant
As for a species like the Thorian, its debatable on whether it would be advanced or not. Due to its parasitic nature, the Thorian would be as advanced as the species it was using.

We already see some whale/bird think flying on one of the planets, in trailer. And I am sure bioware don't care about how realistic life ratio in galaxy is. How many races we have will be limited only by how much bioware want/can do in game.
I think we should have male looking asari xD
Oh jeez! What is this??? Somebody unmake it now!!! It doesn't look right!!!
