Hi made a post earlier on General topic forum and was adviced by other players to contact Tech support...

I bought the game and got it mailed to me today, since its a pre order i got 4 bonuses (codes) and ive redeemed them all. According to my account i have them all "uploaded" and ive followed the instructions given to me via the sheet included in the game-box.

However i cant seem to see the updates on downloadable content in the game, and ive checked if they´ve been installed or smth like that...which they havent been. Ive also refreshed several times etc...could use some help with this please

I had the same thing. Turns out i had to disable my antivirus on-access protection so DA could download the DLC. I'm using avast. Disabled it, ran game again and then the items where shown and being installed.


EDIT: Just read in another thread you're using the xbox version. Sorry no idea about that.

Actually im using the PC version...ill try removing anti virus then

ok tried that ...didnt work..removed fire wall temporarily ..using norton and also made exception for the game....im at my wits end with this

Yes i have the same problem, i also have the pre-order verion ( PC). i also used my keys (3) on this site to unluck the bouns stuff but i only can see it on this site. got nothing to download in the game.

same problem.. redeemed all my codes and they list on webpage but ingame nothing.. a friend told me i had to log in the bottom left corner on the game.. that didnt help still not downloaded

For me it helped to manually start the Dragon Age: Origins - Content Update in services.msc

Same problem, pre-ordered the game (PC) and tried with some of my redeem codes, activated two of them but can't see anything to download. Niether any already installed.

3.2. When in-game, nothing shows up in the three DLC tabs (Available Content, Download, Installed).

3.2.1. Making sure the Dragon Age Updater Service installed properly



1.) Press the windows key + R (or click Start and then RUN) and type in services.msc and press ENTER

2.) Locate the Dragon Age: Origins - Content Update in the list of services.

3.) If i t's not listed, go to 3.2.3 otherwise go to 3.2.2



3.2.2. Manually start the Dragon Age Updater Service if present



1.) Press the windows key + R (or click Start and then RUN) and type in services.msc and press ENTER

2.) Locate the Dragon Age: Origins - Content Update in the list of services.

3.) Right click it and select START

4.) If nothing happens, run the game check the DLC content section again

5.) In case of an error or a timeout go to 3.2.4

same here manually started the server and worked fine!
