I started recently a new game as a DW rogue, plan on having in my party another two DW rogues (Zevran and Leliana) and Alistair as a DW warrior. Is it viable (I play on Casual) to play without a Healer, having an all burst melee damage party?

By the way, all my chars have Momentum and Dual Striking, so my rogues are effective in both backstabbing and frontal attacks.

I think most fights will be very easy with a DW team but there may be a few fights that may need a mage.

 

The only problem I see is that they will get in each others way unless you direct them on to a different enemy.

Vodean, My favorite party is three rogues and Morrigan.. Even on casual you can get your head handed  to you on a silver platter if you're ill-equipped. I use the better rogue fighting skills along with strength ,willpower dexterity and some cunning.

 

Its vital to equip your group with the strongest weapons and armor for their level-this equipment can be found in various chest. I favor  a strong sword and strong dagger combination. 

 

The group will fight independently but,if you romance Leliana, she will rush to your side if you are being attacked by several enemies or if you are getting low on health.. She has saved old Tidus several times in my games.

 

BTW.If you solo the Wilds and the Tower of Ishal you can gain 2 levels. I place Alistair and the other two on "hold ground".

Today I have played part of the Nature of the Beast quest, right after leaving Lothering, with just me, Alistair and Leliana (when I'm done with the dalish I'll get Zevran). We just destroyed everything in our way thus far.
