Leave behind the onomatopoeia, look harder between the lines.
I got it. But put together like that, it sounds like the noise a donkey makes.

Or a mouthy Krogan that needs to be set on fire...
You know, it's sad that ME3 doesnt have any memorable interrupts.
i thought stabbing kai lang's arse was pretty memorable. That's for Thane, you sonnuva b!tch. ![]()
Also punching Han in the gut.
behindthename.com and thenamegarden.com have always been useful sites for me, when I'm looking for names with specific meanings.
The protagonist's name is Com'Ander, duh.

Maybe it's because Bioware has got something asinine in it for quite some time.
Another Completely Moronic Bioware Protagonist
I don't think it really matters. The name you choose will not be spoken by anyone, so don't waste your time. I think we should get an option to be able to leave the name entry blank.

I agree. It's kinda silly and pointless to give our character a name when it never gets spoken or mentioned or anything. I'd rather we just get a default name.
Yep, every character from now on should be called Geralt. Because you know...reasons.

That's like saying what's the point in being able to customize how your character looks when it makes no difference either.

No its not. How can you compare the two? You don't get to hear the name at all during the game but you get to see your character all the time through out the game, THAT'S the difference.

Yes, you can see your character but what difference does it really make it? It would be just the same if your character had the default appearance. It doesn't actually change anything.
The only difference is in your head.

Lol of course it makes a difference when you can see your character. You are going to look at that person for so many hours. It's not at all the same with a name. A name you won't even get mentioned.

the name may never get mentioned, but its still nice to give a personal name of my choosing to the character I'm playing. Plus it helps identify the name of the character I like to play in a new game plus especially since there might be a lot to choose from

I understand that sweet Mike
It's a personal preference I think. I would simply prefer to use a default name if possible. To each their own xD

Your argument is "the name never gets mentioned." Well, how your character looks never gets mentioned either. If you had default name you could be called "Jane" instead of Shepard. If you had default appearance they could make comments about your characters looks like "hey, I love your blue eyes." Now they can't do that can they, if you can customize your characters looks because what if their eyes are green, not blue?
Like I said the only difference is in your head.

But your characters looks at least gets seen. So no.. it's not in my head xD
They could've had Shepard's (first) name mentioned in the trilogy if they had simply bothered by having it appear in emails or on the memorial wall on the normandy in ME3 if he was killed.
My character's name is probably going to be some dumb meme that'll make me chuckle once I enter it and then never again after that.
I dunno. I named my Krogan Soldier "Buffalo," and it still makes me laugh every time I see it.
