I've no idea what to do with them.
Sometimes I use them on my Adepts / Sentinels to speed up my Explosions, usually this kits have short cool downs, already. So the Efficiency Module has nearly no effect.

Any suggestions?

Try to forget they even exist?

They are useful if you want to use a heavy weapon on a "caster" kit and keep relatively fast cooldowns, ala Claymoar/ Widow/ Javelin on adepts/engineers.

Otherwise they're pretty useless. They hardly if at all help most weapon platforms, and if you use a power spamming focus on most kits with 150-200% PRS, even an Efficiency 3 will only shorten your cooldowns by a tenth or two instead of a second or two like they would with a heavy weapon.

Oh, they help a bit with the chain cloak bug you sometimes get on off-host infiltrators. That's nice I guess?

Collect 255 of them, then... keep collecting.

You should eat 'em for a faster cooldown when you rage.

Good on the HA, HSent & HE even with a lighter loadout.

Seriously they're not bad on vanguards because more BC equals more shields/barriers. Obviously inferior to cyclonics in this regard, but the Kroguard & Brawler in particular can make decent use of them

I use them on kits where they allow me to reload-hide every shot. The only one I remember is the Kishok/Raider Batarian Sentinel though. Also, on kits that don't really need anything else. I would use AM instead, but I'm always low on those.

They can decently replace cyclonics on voluses and vanguards. They can also increase the dps of characters who rely mainly on powers combos, or give you more options regarding the weapons you use on casters.

That being said, I still rarely use them.

I use those mostly on my Salarian Engineer since M-98 Widow doesn't let me spam incinerates & energy drains as rapid as i want. Using Mantis instead of Widow on that char helps too but you know, Mantis vs Widow, c'mon, just look at this babe:

Ok, i think it's time for me to go back to my calibrations...

I'm glad that one poster knows the correct answer. PEMs are really good on most casters, and they can definitely effectively replace cyclonics because you don't need shields when all the enemies are dead.

Just keep using them like you are, but change your loadout on those classes to a moderately heavy one, like a Claymoar. They become useful then.

Other than that, I'm not really sure.

Which 9/10 times is circumvented by cloaking and shooting/using a power, thus allowing for a shorter cd on tc. Meaning, I don´t have to spec around bad hosts.

Given how low I always am on drenmods, I tend to slap those PEMs on my TSent or Valkyrie, when I run them with a claymoar, for more tasty cheese. Otherwise I tend to slap a drenmod on my TSent.

Edit: to clarify what I meant with my first sentence, I use cloak again after 3 secs even if the game thinks i´m still cloaked, allowing me to override the host who still believes I´m cloaked. It doesn´t work if the connection is completely fubar, but will work otherwise fine.

They are pretty much useless, because Cyclonic, Adrenaline Mod or Power Amp will be better 100% of the time.

Since 200% CD is overrated and most kits will do fine with a CD around 120-160, they're pretty useless.

And also this:

They are pretty much useless, because Cyclonic, Adrenaline Mod or Power Amp will be better 100% of the time.

Put them on the same shelf with your explosive rounds...  and leave them there.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Agree with Binary Helix.  To me they are useless as well.  I only put a cyclonic, adren mod or shield cells...I rarely use power amp mods... I think the power efficiency mod is probably helpful for players that are starting out learning how to adjust to the weapon weight system...since the lower levels of weapons are so heavy, power eff. would help them learn how to implement heavy weapons with powers.

Power Amp on a particular build of the Vanilla Human Adept works well. When you're using Singularity/Detonation and two Warps for two BE's instead of Shockwaves.

That being said the HMA would benefit a bit from Power Eff for chaining BE's faster if you were Shockwaving your Warps instead of waiting for Singularity to detonate. /shrug?

And then throw a match! The explosive rounds should surely blow them up.... shouldn't they??

In all my extended time using explosive ammo, I've seen it do something only one time.  A banshee managed to take me down via warp damage after I pumped her with explosive ammo.  She towered before me, shrieking with pride and then the soft puff of explosive ammo kicked in.  Then, she died.  I was plenty surprised to see it finally kill something. LOL.

RE: Power Efficiency, I would use them on casters while carrying heavier weapons or generally when the power recharge bonus is really small.
