In most cases for hunter stealth spike mine will simply do better.
Second time I have quoted this.. I did actually run hunter (only in threatening first time) with spike mine, elemental mine, fallback plan, and stealth. The spike mine is pretty sweet with stealth.. you can drop it right at the foot of someone, stay in stealth, and watch them go sky high.
Need to play this in perilous at least to see what I really think of it.
Spike mine is also better since it requires less participation and understanding from the rest of the party I would guess.
Oh, and that whole cast fallback plan, cast stealth, run around dropping spike mine, then drop element mines, and then warp back is a bit choreographed for my taste, but is kinda fun. Again, gotta try it on perilous at least and see what I think.. and then with a party as well.
