You only think it's better because you're a pc  gamer yourself lol :D I don't think I'll ever prefer it over my ps4 or Xbox one.

I wasn't sure it was possible actually but I'm glad it is. I've also tried connecting my pc to a tv before and that works well as well. It's something to consider, that's for certain. I already have a pc. Actually I have TWO lol :D

You say that now, but I'll convert you into a PC gamer yet!!! :P

You should tell me what the hardware specs are. ME1-3 are relatively old software so you don't need a state of the art PC to play them. MEA, on the other hand, is probably going to require a pretty current PC with a nice GPU.

Hah I know you will!! Lol :D

You have a point but on the other hand, Andromeda I want to play on console, I'm pretty sure of that xD I think I'll use pc for the trilogy though, that way I can use the mods and I can probably play them since they're old. I'll tell you the specs in one of the pm's when I've gotten them all xD

Thinking about starting one tonight or tomorrow. Dunno what class I want to play. I haven't played a ME game since The Citadel was released, so like two+ years now I think.

Sounds like you'll buy two copies of Andromeda because once you are immersed in the original trilogy on the PC there's no going back!!!

I never stopped. I'm playing ME1 right now. Going through the trilogy again & then I'll get back on for more multiplayer.

I still play the Multiplayer every day, can't even play the SP anymore because it's so boring compared to MP. Only ME2 can hold a candle to ME3MP.

Last time I played an ME game? Somewhen in late 2013 I think. Gods, I'm glad that chapter of my videogaming life is over. I'll be very careful about buying ME:A, probably not before I've watched a few LP videos including the ending.

So, capping the downside risk but limiting the upside, right?

I agree. Frostbite scales down nicely; I can play DAI on a Dell c521, which wasn't even a high end machine ten years ago. (Athlon X2 4000+, 6670 vidcard). Though DAI is only playable because its gameplay isn't really framerate-dependent, no way this works for ME:A.

But that rig will run the ME trilogy just fine.

Today.

Thanks Captain Obvious  :P Though shouldn't you rather be saying that you are building and testing a Bioware game? To be playing the game would mean you are deriving joy from the game rather than banging your head trying to fix the while loop function in the toilet flushing feature on the new shiny space ship we will be getting in MEA, yes?

Unless this means that the game is in a mostly playable state, and it's almost complete. In which case, why do you leave us in the dark for so long? We need our Mass Effect fix too you know. Sharing info is caring about your fans  :D

It's sad that it came to to this.  But we've seen that the downside can be so very, very, down.

On one hand, seeing that devs read the forums makes me happy.

On the other hand, seeing that devs read the forums makes me very scared indeed. There's some raging insanity out there.

I'd rather be disappointed by something than have the whole thing spoiled for me.

If it makes you feel better, I am playing the work that I'm doing to make sure it's good. Also, it's colonel these days.

Yesterday, I went to Armstrong Cluster for Tali's pilgrimage gift and I kill a lot of geth with my beautiful sniper rifle. I wanted to start Virmire but goddamn long list of ME1 assignments...

And I used a referral code for SWTOR so I have to play that for awhile. I haven't started Chapter X but I probably get early access for Chapter XI before I turned preferred again.

I know that if I was working on a game for 8-12 hours a day (or more during Crunch Time; poor John Elper*,) I'd want to come home and shoot some husks too. Especially if I was working on the next game in a franchise that is still controversial among fans. :P

*John was working up to 18 hours a day/5 days a week to get the animation done for Iron Bull, according to his Twitter feed. All that so we could have IB as a romance available to all races and both genders.

Edit: I finally got past Tuchunka last night, and picked up Tali this morning. I'm going to see if my spastic dogs will stay calm enough to finish rescuing Jacob and Haw...er, Brynn this afternoon.

I know that feel bro/sis, haven't touched the series since the EC, until now. Still makes me a lil salty thinking about it, Liara wasn't a fan either.

Lmao, I've watched that video waaaayy too many times. While I haven't touched ME2 or ME3 in at least a year I recently went back to the first ME because it became backwards compatible on XB1, the Mako still climbs for days  B)

Last night.  Unfortunately....Lvl 5 Drelldept goes from full Silver Lobby into ....Glacier!Reapers with team split into pairs and not able to see (or hear!) each other except for badge accomplishments, and then the KroSo on my team dropped, but I stuck it out for....only XP of things I killed completely, with no mission bonuses :(   Had been more than halfway through 5 already, so a good Silver should have got me through to 10, but didn't even level up....

I've finally started to have fun in a multiplayer because I've finally found someone who wants to play with me. I've also started ME3 renegade run, started as a blonde, but then got sidetracked into installing million mods, then breaking the game and having to do it all over again. Now I'm finally casually doing the SP as well, with a non-default redhead adept. I think I'll romance Sam, because I'm pretty sure they had a moment on Normandy when they first met, who am I to stay in the way.
