I don't think people think that Sera is funny, as in her jokes are brilliant and such good material, what I think they mean is that Sera is FUN. Funny and fun, two different concepts.
Like, when Sera makes her poopoo peepee jokes, it's not like HAHAHAHAH THATS SO FUNNY SERA, I AM LITERALLY CRYING THATS A GOOD JOKE, but it's just so stupid and silly in a game that is ANYTHING but, you can enjoy it even if it is stupid silly jokes about sex and pee and farts. Especially since your other companions aren't really that humorous either, she kinda IS funny compared to the rest of the lot. At least she tries, anyway.
When it comes to Sera's immaturity, of course she is, she is a child of the streets who had little to no boundaries. She only knows what she experienced, and she has formed her opinions accordingly. There's really no reason for her to be incredibly mature. And I'm going to assume that she is the youngest in the inquisition. And I enjoy that she has such radical views on things, if everyone was accommodating and knew how to maturely approach every issue, it would've been a bit boring yes?
The only issue I had was her total denial of whatever happened in the Temple of Mythal, but that's only because the game didn't give me the choice I would've picked. I generally thought nothing of importance about the temple, I just shrugged it off since I am not an expert on it. But I wasn't given the choice to just shrug it off, I had to pick a side, YES or NO, which wasn't fair to me or to Sera.
Otherwise I mostly agree on all of her opinions, and maybe that's why I enjoyed her so much, because we saw eye to eye in most cases.

Sera uses a modified human female body (which is why she can wear human armor). All the other elves including the player have the very narrow shoulders and body
You can mod that, I used a mod for the female elf body shape that looked good

Witch,I said B-W blew it again. Sera should have been bisexual like Josie.
What is so bad about wanting a female LI for a male elf pc?
You're lacking in respect.
There is nothing wrong with a female LI for an Elf. However, what you said is that Sera is wrong because she doesn't do swingin'.

jlb124,I don't play BG2 and have no clue of its contents. All I'm saying we don't have that in any DA game.
Serza,Again B-W could have made her bisexual like Josie. Would that have been so terrible? I think not and would have been a breath of fresh air. A elf romancing a female elf instead of a human female or male.WOW! What a thought!

If you want to romance Sera as a male elf simply because of her race, you have really, really, really, really, really, really, really missed a significant part of Sera's actual character.Again B-W could have made her bisexual like Josie. In my opinion they should have made Solas female instead, the real screw up was making a completely disproportional male cast to begin with.
Game has 3 females vs 6 males which gives straigh IQ only 2 females vs 4 males.
Solas could have been the straigh elf woman or maybe Vivienne could have been a LI for the male IQ.

I'm always for adding more women to the cast though not for the sake of having more romance options. I think two options is enough.
Solas = Fen'harel obviously and that character has always been referred to as male ( though they could say that's one more thing the Dalish got wrong).

All I am asking for is B-W to get their heads out of there arse and make a female elf for a male elf PC LI.
Is it that way too hard to do? Do they need new writers with fresh ideas? or Is that too much to ask as a customer?

Why just a male elf? should be romanceable by humans at least.

I don't see how this is a fresh idea. It's like you think their writers are incapable of conceptualizing this.
I'm aware you didn't play old BW games but, fun fact, literally every female LI in BW's first two games that had romances were elven (or half elf in Jaheira's case). This was five LIs in total.
Also, Sera's writer was lead writer for one of these games (BG2) and wrote one of the romances.
Wanting a specific romance style for DA series is fine and dandy, though. But the writer's aren't shits for not providing it.

I never understand people who want to change a character's sexual orientation to suit their own preferences. It's like asking for a straight Dorian "just cause". As if a characters' orientation is something that should be changed or slapped on just to pander to the Inquisitor's feelsies. Characters have their own personalities and preferences, and trying to forcefully change that just to suit some capricious whim is distasteful.

I agree. Plus if someone wants to experience a certain romance they can easily make a character that suits that companion's tastes.

Serza,Why not a female elf for a male pc? We have male human/female human and male Qunari/ female Qunari but,no male Elf/ female.Elf.. Its not a male tear thing unless you want it to be in your seemingly small world.
B-W needs to get their heads out of their arse and address that problem by making all characters bisexual that way they can keep everybody happy.
I even made a female Elf for gay relations Chasha hates all men.

But almost everybody IS bi-sexual. At least in my experience and I'm WAAAYYYY old. Enough liquor or drugs or cash and anyone is willing to play. ![]()

This game, they decided to have a lesbian elf. They also decided that she should be blonde, that Blackwell be beardy, and that Dorian be Tevint-y. That's the characters they wrote this time, and the rest besides.
Next game? It'll be totally different. You'll probably get to unleash your disrespectful self on some unfortunate elf lady there, I bet, to your, uh, heart's content.
Otherwise you're more than a year of owning and three years of development behind on this one. Let it lie.

Still puzzles me to this day that Viv isn't a LI.
Especially after what happens. She really needs a shoulder to cry on.
A lot of people don't like her, but I think she's beautiful and would certainly romance her if she was available. Lilliana and Verric too if possible although those two might be a handful.

Does Dorian being "Tevint'y" explain that stupid mustache?

People expect him to be Tevint-y evil, so he has a moustache he can twirl.... but doesn't. It's a subversion.
